That’s really poor, especially for the price! Personally, I would send it back. Not so much about the inside roof but the centre pillar, the sides are awful, it’s like paint has run. It’s a lot of money for what it is so I’d send it back. Also by getting it back, they can see what the factory is putting out! Only just found you and your channel as I’m looking to start a little tt layout myself! Keep up the great work!

Hi just found your channel and going through your videos, how is your wiring done , it doesn’t look like there is any underneath the baseboard
my layout is very simple, all the track is powered from the supplied power supply in the tt120 digital train sets, I.e the power track peice. I have power clips on all points and this gives me power accross the entire layout meaning there is no requirement to have a Bus wire.
It’s come on a lot. It’s great to see how different all the TT:120 layouts are. Never seen a golf course modelled. 😊

Looking and sounding great....just ordered the green version this morning.... doesn't really fit the era I'm doing but just couldn't resist.
you won't be disappointed, the class 50 and my HST are by far the best running models, think I do prefer the diesels to be honest though. I am thinking i need the green version also. 🙂 thanks for watching.
What a great idea laying down the ballast first, that's how its done on real railways. I suppose the critical thing is getting it level and even for the track. Did you lay the track on the ballast while it was still drying or did you wait till had set?
I applied a thin layer of pva with a brush, then scattered the ballast over the top, waited until dry, and then hoovered off. as long as you just paint the glue on and it's not all thick and lumpy, you will get a consistent level track bed. it's been much simpler in my eyes And no messing around tying to ballast around point work. also if and track work needs to be replaced in the future it's more straight forward. thanks for watching.

Oh wow you've built a TT layout already? Has it not only been like a year since Hornby started doing TT again?
yeah I started the layout roughly last September, there's still alot of work yet to do, alot of fine details but we are getting there.
looking great but just one thing it me or are the golf flags a bit big . can't wait to see more houses in the street part and the way your going to raise them
I'll take it on board and see what I can do, I used cocktail sticks, maybe I'll try some hard wire. 👍

😄 thanks, I used to work on a golf course so I had half an idea, it's not perfect but it's getting there now, just fancied something a little different scenery wise

The golf course is a great idea, most only have a hill with sheep on or a church etc.. it’s all coming together nicely mate!!
thanks, it's taken a little work but it's coming together now, still need to add more details but overall very happy with the idea.

hills are looking good .the trees do they have to be TT120 scale or can you use 00 gauge trees as I have loads
the trees I have used are all OO scale, and it doesn't seem to be a problem, they look fine

hi ya m8 I've got 00 gauge at the moment but because off space I'm giving up 00 gauge and moving to TT120 gauge . not got anything at the moment just looking for ideas tips and help . what size is your base board .

Preiser do some N gauge golfers, but other than that I don't know of any. Great layout, coming along nicely👍.
Nice touch with the golf course. I was planning to put one on an unused corner of my layout, but sadly I couldn't find any golfers in the correct scale at the time! I see Noch make some in HO, but can you get them in TT120? Liked and Subbed by the way, I want to follow your progress!! Cheers, Andy
I havent tried to find any tt120 golfers, I think ill have to be adventurous and bodge something together, either that or I'll say course is closed due to bad weather 😅

Thanks, it's basically strips of balsa wood with metcalfe stone wall sheets glued on. very simple but effective.
Looking good, Dave. Re folding the layout up, it doesn't look as if you have an offset for the hinges away from the wall? Is this something you're planning to add?
Thanks, When the layout is folded it isn't vertically folded its on a slight angle which allows for the front half of the scenery height to not hit the wall. the bacl half of the layout nearest to the hinges alis mainly track work and won't consist of much height of this makes sense. I will post a video of it in the folded position soon. thanks again for the comments.
