Lined up front row and my ninja-skill of clipping in quickly rewarded me with a solo break that I had no chance of holding. Fun to pretend for a couple laps.
Ended up accidentally chasing a new teammate's break because I didn't recognize his jersey. Absolutely died a horrible death on the final lap just trying to hold the back of the sprinters' draft to the final turn.
A lackluster season with only a single prime to show for it, but I took risks, never got dropped, and still had so much fun. Gonna miss this for the next 36 weeks or so.

Buncha squirrelly late-season dive-bombing in turns & a rowdy pedal-scrape from Carytown Sound next to me on lap 2. Lap-board said 9 twice, so we got a bonus lap! First race after dropping my son off at college. Had a bit too much fun in the mountains with him over the weekend and then rode way too hard to get to the race. Goal was to survive, and I achieved it. Squirrelly race 3 riders down at 16 minutes, and kinda surprised there weren't more wrecks. A little spicy this week. Lots of little gaps to cover early meant nothing in the tank to attack at the end.
