I'm high A2 in English (maybe low B1 in vocabulary, writing and reading (silently)). My weakest skills are speaking and listening. I want to start French now and add Spanish in may (I'm Brazillian and Spanish is similar to Portuguese) and German in july. What do you think about it? And do u have some tips for me?? Note.: I work and study other things also and I don't know if I learn things in normal pace or slow. I knew your channel today haha
@@adayld Thank you for your comment! These are quite ambitious goals in my opinion, so you should realistically evaluate how much time you would be able to dedicate to each language. French and Spanish have some similarities too so it’s good not to start them at the same time. I would first set my priorities about the languages I want to learn and my reasons for that, and of course about other things in life. After that, I’d maybe remove one of the languages cause it’s really hard to start learning new languages within such a short time frame. I’d focus on English more, add French and maybe start Spanish once I’m at least solid A2 in French. (You can substitute languages in order of importance for you). And good job on watching videos in English even though you’re not advanced yet, this will definitely help you 😊
@@siasea_lang Thanks, merci, gracias!
@@siasea_lang I want to dedicate an average of 30 minutes in each language, but dedicate more to one in a specific month. Because I need to study IT as well and dedicate myself to solve other things. I have never liked English haha, I'm learning because I need it. But now, I'm excited about other languages and I'd like to be able to hold on to basic conversations at least in each language. But I know it isn't easy, I almost give up English many many many times haha Maybe what it will scare me more it's German. That's why I asked you for tips. Btw, thanks in advance! 🙂
@ My best tip here is to understand that while language learning is exciting and interesting, it’s also hard at the same time, so make sure not to overwhelm yourself. As long as you don’t demand too much of yourself, you’re good. Plus, don’t worry about whether you’re studying fast enough. If you’re doing it for yourself, just go at your own pace and enjoy your journey. If you have 2 hours a day to dedicate to your goal I think you’re good 👍😊
@@siasea_lang Thank you. 🫶🏻😊

2:15 I love that you are learning my language, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. 😊 Just a heads up though, the English word "Polish" is pronounced /ˈpəʊ.lɪʃ/, not /ˈpɒ.lɪʃ/. I used to make this mistake before as well, but now I no longer say I am a cleaning product. 😉

I've already found Nicos Weg and I watched some of the videos, but I didn't notice there is also an app with exercises. I'm downloading it right now. I learned some German at primary school, but I think we didn't even cover A1 level (because we didn't even get to know about past tense and on Duolingo it's already in A1 section). I've started to learn German more seriously only recently. Well, kind of. It's still not the language I'm focusing right now, but I have ambitious plans. 😂

8:51 I hope it's OK if I correct your mistakes and give you a hint on how to say what you intended: Uczę się polskiego od dwóch tygodni. tydzień - a week dwa tygodnie - two weeks od dwóch tygodni - for two weeks, since two weeks ago dwa tygodnie - a nominative case dwóch tygodni - a genitive case polski - a nominative case polskiego - a genitive case Verb "uczę się" goes with a genitive case. 9:15 It would have sounded better if you had said: Mówię trochę po polsku. trochę - a little mało - little, few Actually, "mało" could be used as a synonym for "rzadko" (rarely). The sentence "Mało mówię po polsku" means: "I speak Polish rarely". But in this case, to make the sentence sounds natural, "mało" should be at the beginning of the sentence.
@@karolinaa.6183 Dziękuję! I haven’t learned this yet but it makes total sense to me😊

Mein kopf tut weh von deutsche "Die,DAS,Der,Den.." Prošao sam tečaj njemačkog i iako mi ie drag jako je težak i kompliciran. Engleski sam naučio brzo jer imam dosta rodbine u USA Španjolski i Talijanski razumin zbog posudjenica, nekad popularnih telenovela i zabavljanja na Duolingu.

One more thing it is true that we all speak English and many speak also German and Italian which had huge influence on Croatian and Croatian dialects
@@stipe3124 Vau, hvala puno na preporukama, svakako ću pogledati! 😊 I’ve noticed that many people in Istra speak Italian since Italy is so close. In Slavonija, where I live, German is more popular, but it’s probably popular in all the regions because there are a lot of German speaking tourists and many people move to Germany/ Austria. Some older people here even remember and can speak some Russian. Some speak Hungarian, especially closer to Hungary here. That’s really cool that many people are multilingual!
@siasea_lang I don't actually know alot of people who speak Russian but in my area (Šibenik) bunch of people speak English,German and Italian and mostly it was because of people going working in countries that speak those languages! But for example in Zagreb they have bunch of German loanwords "Špiglo,Gepek,Rikverc" i tako dalje On the Adriatic Coast is like that with Italian and other Latin Languages "Drito,Priša,Molaj,Cima,Skaline,Pomidora,Šporko" Još jedna stvar što sam primjetio kad Ukrajinci pričaju Hrvatski je da često ne koriste veznike/povratne zamjenice ili kako se već zovu pa umisto "Ja sam bio" kažu samo "Ja bio" ili "On je doma " bude "On Doma", doslovno svi imate taj problem, kao da u Ukrajinskom nema tih oblika u gramatici, kao da ne postoje.
@ Istina, mi nemamo tih veznika i za to i imamo taj problem. The same happens when people from Ukraine start learning English, the verb ‘to be’ is often forgotten, and people simply say ‘I going home’ or ‘He at home’. It’s hard to get used to using something you don’t have in your native language. Btw, you live in a very beautiful area of Croatia. And because of the dialects, I feel like its easier for me to understand Serbian than Croatian spoken in Istria or Dalmatia😄
@siasea_lang I agree it is very nice area! For me it was for a time problem with English along that line but it was about sentence order since in Croatian "Ja ću piti i Piti ću" are same but in English you just can't say "Drink will I" because it sounds very silly compared to "I will Drink". That is interesting what you say about South Croatia since words like "Crikva,Misto,Tute/Tote(Ovdje)" is probably more simillar to Ukranian than "Crkva,Naselje,Ovdje" But i get it, we do have sentences that are confusing in dialect for example "Vode me Vode do Vode" which means "Here they are leading me to the water" That is actually with no foreign loanwords but confusing as hell and quite normal in dialects. Vode= Ovdje,Tu,Tote,Tute
@ Vode me vode do vode .. I would never understand it without your explanation 😅 here is what translator says : ‘water leads me to water’ You’re right, some words sound more similar to Ukrainian, but maybe because I’m learning knjizevni hrvatski it just confuses me more. Plus there are some words that sound the same as in Ukrainian/Russian but have different meanings For example, vrijedna means valuable in Croatian, but unhealthy or naughty in Russian. Prijatelji iz Pule kažu da vi imate drugačiji naglasak tamo i u Slavoniji za svaku riječ, ali ja to ne mogu razlikovati
I liked this video of yours🥰
