I watched Ros na Rún! | as Gaeilge
Hello and welcome or welcome back! Ros na Rún is a central part of Irish language life, and I've wanted to watch it for ages, but then I saw the first episode is on TG4 player.
I had a great time watching it, and I hope ye have just as much fun watching this video!
-
Dia daoibh agus fáilte nó fáilte ar ais! Is cuid lárnach é Ros na Rún de shaol na Gaeilge, agus bhí mé ag iarraidh breathnú air ar feadh tamaill, ach ansin chonaic mé go raibh an céad eagrán ar sheinnteoir TG4.
Bhí am den scoth agam ag breathnú air, agus tá súil agam go mbainfidh sibh an méid spraoi céanna as an bhfíseán seo!

Hello and welcome or welcome back! This is my first big upload in over a year and a half, and it's a little nerve wracking 😱 Me and my family went to Galway to visit my brother for the long weekend, and we had a great time! I love Galway, and it was great to spend some time there and catch up with friends. If you're looking for more of a Galway travel guide, I made a short with some of my favou...

Hello and welcome or welcome back! I thought I'd do something different in this video and cook! I've seen loads of people try these recipes on TikTok and they looked easy enough so I thought I'd try them! My patrons saw this video a day earlier: www.patreon.com/gaeilgeleeimear - Dia daoibh agus fáilte nó fáilte ar ais! Cheap mé go ndéanfainn rud éigin difriúil san fhíseán seo agus cócaráil! Cho...

"To the shop" is not an object; it is an adverbial phrase. The copula does not have two subjects! It has a subject and a predicate, with the syntax VPS.

In Arabic too it's verb first. But it's also possible to start with a noun. Better still we can make verb-less sentences like in Russian.

This is such a great explaination. Almost evey other language I speak has inverse word order to differentiate statements from questions so this was hard to overcome. Go raibh maith agat!

I've only recently started learning Irish and wondered why i found it easier (structurally) than French. It was because my native language has the same sentence structure!

Somethings I did not understand in languages until a couple years ago for sentence structure . The objective in your presentation (now a couple years old as of 2023) makes sense . Verb ,Subject , Object . In my native dialect , English , Subject Verb, Object is by the standard now is in varying degree of decay . Celtic, Irish , Scots languages gives me a new breath of enlightenment . Other channel featuring the Irish language have usefulness and I believe as people are getting to the social media platforms to get revenue they themselves are learning how to present a subject as per say for the sake of preserving the language from endangered to near extinction status .

I think prayers as Gaeilge is very immersive especially if your Roman Catholic or Orthodox. You read and and speak or chant at the same time engaging both. Glóir don Áthair, agus don Mhac, agus don Spiorad Naomh Ar aon anois, agus go deo, agus haoiseanna de haoiseanna. Amen ☦️☘️ Go raibh maith agat don fhís! (I hope that's all correct)
