Awesome space! Not sure I've heard of live mastering before. Genius idea with the financing. Thanks for going over all the business stuff. Also cool to point out how useful meticulous records are.
Sounds like grifter studios
Se puede grabar en español
I spent a lot of time at Chung King in the 90's, this is amazing! Salute to you
I interned in the ni room
This is some impressive big-ass mother of a space. Love how high the net clearance is everywhere. The opposite of claustrophobic. Do you guys own this building?
The C.O.I. legend. He downplays it but he could really rap back then. Good to see him continuing to win within music. Great interview.
🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Man if I hit a lottery I’d have a place built like that and just live there as my house lol
I love everything about this video. A knowledgeable businessman with a great understanding of value. I ran a recording studio for years and plan on reopening. this is the video that I needed to see. I've engineered for all my clients in the past, but I want to run my next studio the way they do. He has the vision to work on the studio, not work in. DOPE
Skip the dishes Uses this model of Of charging would be "independent contractor" for delivery bags and their own background check. Making money of people working to get a job. This should be illegal. Nobody pays for their uniforms and tools and equipment.
Awesome....Keep doing ya thing and he looks like a young TOMMY LISTER JR (DEEBO)
Looking forward to working with you all soon you are amazing
Awesome Studio. I too am building my recording studio where I also write my screenplays in Vegas

How do you become an intern without going to audio school? I have 10 years experience tracking and mixing at a local studio that is much smaller than Patchwerk. I'm not a know it all and willing to learn from real veteran engineers. Would like to come out to Atlanta and put in work. I know it's not easy(long hours and paying attention to every detail of the mix)but I truly love music production. And I need one of those I do music shirts lol
You don't have to go to audio school if you don't need to, especially if you have experience. But it's tough nonetheless. I went to an audio school because I came from a nowhere city and I had no connections. I probably applied to over 100 studios and only got back 1 yes and 1 maybe. And that was 10 years ago. I had my own standards though, I only applied to studios in big cities with SSLs (because I wanted to learn it) and that had a notable client base (I wanted to work on large releases). When I eventually got to a position where I was interviewing interns, I was only looking for 1 thing: are you cool, I mean can you keep your cool under pressure in front of big artists? ....and can you wrap a cable? lol Good luck to ya! (oh and be prepared to not make any money for a few years, have side gigs available)
What's the name of the Studio Handbook?
This guy is amazing! That business mind and the ability to see into the future is inspiring! Thank you for the vid.
Hi I wish to work 🤗
