I’m curious, what caused the wobbly effect at 0:24?
I was out testing the lens with the Zhiyun Crane M3 gimble. It doesn’t work most of the time, the motors give out and start shaking and wobbling. I just really love that area, I used the clip despite the wobble.

I leave the 24-70 at home now. It’s unfair how sharp it is at f8. I can crop in 500% and have a clear quality image. I have clear cropped images of Manhattan from 12 miles away with this 35. It’s my first 1.4 prime, I only used zooms and the cheaper 1.8 primes before, the level of detail this thing catches at the extremes changes how I shoot. I’ll make a video about it tomorrow so you can see, I’m scouting a location for a fashion shoot so it’ll be easy to fit in.

I finally finished that video. Took me 3 weeks longer than I expected. I wanted to get great footage for it, I bought a gimble, and the gimble didn’t work. I re-recorded all my talking head footage like 5 times. Even now, I think I forgot to put in enough samples from the actual 35mm lens I’m talking about.
@@GunslingerMediaCo Kudos for keeping at it, will check it out soon. Meanwhile, rumors are finally that Canon drops their f1.2/f1.4 with the R1 in Q3. Gives me some time to think if I want to go all in with the equivalent.
@@DanYosua true, I just heard about the rf 35mm 1.2 this week. I couldn’t spend over $2k on a prime lens, that’s Leica territory now lol. If the image quality is up there, then yeah, but I don’t think the extra bokeh is worth it.
