Alienware m16 r2 re-paste.
Today I took the bottom cover and rear I/O cover off my Dell Alienware m16 r2 to change out the factory thermal paste. My m16 r2 was the same as my g15 5511, tons of thermal paste. It took over 20 mins to clean it all off. I re-pasted it with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, I've had very good results with it so far. FYI if your working on any electronics, unplug them, and unhook the battery.

      This year I got a pool liner for a 24' round pool. Last year we used a water proof trap, but it constantly leaked, and the sand washed out from the one side. The pool liner is around $499 from pool supplies canada. The liner wasn't much more then the trap I got last year.

    • @trevork4066
      @trevork4066 8 днів тому

      The total price for the pool was around $3500, that's with the pump, sand filter, all the hose and fittings, liner, solar cover, chains and boomer, straps and rachet straps, foam insulation, and few odds and ends needed. The pool kit we priced out was around $7000, this way was half price. The pallets I got them from my work so they where free. The wood boiler was about $1000 to build, stove kit from amazon, 3/4" copper tuning.

    Just so you know, the recommended amount of water is 80 ml. Accucraft/Aster have a whole owners manual available on their website. (Edit) Why do you run it both ways for even wear on the wheels? Wheels spin so they are getting even wear no matter which way you run it.

    • @trevork4066
      @trevork4066 6 місяців тому

      I now the recommended amount is 80 ml but 70% water fill is 90 ml. Most boilers are designed to run between 50% to 70% full of water. I rub the track both ways because I run R1 and R3 track and the wheel flanges do get wear after while.

    The generator is on the suck side? I don't think I've ever seen that. Is it a single shaft then? That'd definitely make more sense for the exhaust end, no worrying about hot gas vs shaft seals.

    • @davidclark3304
      @davidclark3304 6 місяців тому

      Single shaft makes sense in a turbine that runs at constant speed and steady load, and this one is a single shaft design. But there are engines with two shafts that drive from the cold end. The shafts are concentric. Aircraft turbo fan engines all run that way, and many helicopter engines.
