Climb on board the 2024 National High Point Champion BozGoz Bantam hydroplane as we race around the Pacific Northwest and the country competing against some of the fastest 2.5 Liter Stock hydroplanes in the nation.
The BozGoz Racing Team is based in Cashmere, WA and has been competing as a member of the Pacific Northwest Boat Racing Association (PNBRA) in Region 10 of the American Power Boat Association (APBA) since the 2019 season. After winning Western Divisionals in Manson, WA and earning APBA West Coast Inboard Rookie of the Year honors in 2019, the entire BozGoz Racing Team has been focused improving our skills on and off the water.
The dedication of the team over the past few years has paid off and we earned our first National High Point Championship in 2024.

2024 Manson Hydrofest 2.5 Liter Stock Sunday Qualifier
The S-6 and S-12 keep taking turns with the bad luck as the motor on the Monkey Business throws another rocker arm and they are not able to finish the heat. The Bantam goes on the get the win, the S-77 Fury finishes second, and the S-8 Crazy Eights finishes third.

This is a restart of the Saturday Final. When we first tried to run the heat the S-12 Monkey Business had some bad luck and threw their shaft coupler during the pre-race milling period. In this three boat heat (S-6, S-12, S-8) the Bantam is able to secure lane one and go on to a close victory over the S-12 Monkey Business with never more than a few boat lengths between us. Just too much Monkey Business in this heat! Although we were fairly even at the start, the S-12 Monkey Business just has too much speed for us on the outside. We had our work cut out for us in this one with the S-12 Monkey Business and the S-1 JJW Racing (racing as the T-3) right next to us going around the first corner. Lucky for us the S-1 JJW Racing (racing as the "T-3" in the video), S-8 Crazy 8s, and S-12 Monkey Business jump the gun at the start. Monkey Business just has too much speed for us, but since they jumped, the Bantam is able to take the victory. We were leapfrogged at the end of the pre-race milling period by the S-1 JJW Racing so we had to settle for lane two. We finally get a decent start, even if we hesitated a bit when we shouldn't have. We are able to challenge the S-1 JJW Racing once or twice but they are just too fast for us. The BozGoz Bantam goes on to a second place finish behind the S-1 JJW Racing.
