My first experience with neopets was in a Claire's in like 2001-2002, i got this lanyard with doglefoxes on it and i dont remember what my sister got but it had an angelpuss on it back when they were still the og Cat Orb™ and since they had item codes on them we went to the website, made an account, and the rest is history lol. i spent the better part of my early to mid teens on the rp board and would consider myself to be at least a halfway decent writer today thanks to the time i spent there sparking my interest in creative writing in the first place

A quarter of a century.... So crazy! Neopets was so buggy for me today

I was a not a kid, but still pretty new to being an adult when I discovered Neopia. Back in 2001 I was really into collecting different pixel adoptables for my GeoCities page, and I think I saw an animated gif of a neopet on somebody's random webring-found page and decided to investigate. I haven't used so many turn-of-the-century references in a while! XD I wasn't able to get into one of the birthday events. My area was full within a few hours of posting. Silly me had to work before I could login and check. It's a bummer because I really want that 25th Anniversary avatar!

My first experience with Neopets was in 2000 or 2001? I think 2000 because I think I was in grade 8 and a friend of mine showed me Neopets in the computer lab at school and I was then obsessed until about 2004 when I graduated High-school. I came back again in 05 and 06 just to Advent, but then it just kinda slipped away into my brain abyss until this year, and now I'm as hooked as I ever was :) shockingly I was able to get my OG backup account back! So my current main is still from 2001 :) Neopets in 2024 is an ENTIRELY different world than it was in 2001, haha. But I'm loving it ❤

A babysitter I had in 5th grade introduced it to me from their family computer (she was 16 at the time) it was around 1999 and I thought it was so cool there were so many games and you could have a pet. but I didn't get to make my own account until around 2001 when we got a pc at our house. I lost that account due to a hacker but have had a new account since 2008 and been playing off and on since then, especially in the last year and a half.

I have wondered about the pronunciation of the red code stones Kew and Cui. The best I can find is Kew = Q and Cui = Quee. I hope these make sense. LOL Thanks for your great videos! They are so very helpful!

Good news for anyone wondering, but according to the updated plot FAQ you'll still be able to get the teatime & void works avatars during the hiatus if you haven't gotten them yet. Also I'm starting to get the feeling the tavi one is pretty much random, I got lucky enough to get it a few days ago, here's hoping you're able to get it before Tavi drains you of too many of your np lol

Yesterday, I sent 600k on the Tea thing Today, I kept going until I got something expensive, and it was like 50np, 150np, 100np, 1500np, then it jumped to 25k neopoints xD

LOL The bc winner is one of my neofriends: their entry from the week prior got rejected two days before the round ended; which she expected, but it was also her first time entering said pet so, sucky. So she made a dead chia tribute meme to poke back at the contest judge and, well, you see the results 😂

This Tea Time with Tavi's has been INSANE! She is whack asking for an item that is skyrocketed LOL (I am aware the pool is getting expanded but it was nuts yesterday morning)

the first item of the list of five things Tavi wanted was 750k on SSW. No thank you. Later that day it changed to Tavi requesting only one item. So far they have been under 2k each, This plot is a little under planned to me. just sayin...

I really hope that expands the pool of items for tavi's teatime. I was lucky enough to get my first 5 done with only having to skip one quest because it didn't show up at all on the ssw, though I still ended up spending around 300k total between all 5 quests -_- Also cozy campfire does still reward np and an item, and there's a trophy you can get as well by playing on the hardest difficulty if you want something else to eat away at your remaining sanity lol

The capsules have me so very salty. I burned 20m (basically all I had) figuring I could finish up slowly but never mind I guess 😢 I got a cement mixer and an asparagus dagger. Both 2m or less

I strongly dislike TNT's decision about the capsules. The people who can afford the avatar now can do so, but the people who are too poor to do so are going to have it be even more out of reach. It rewards wealthy players and hurts non-wealthy players. It feels unbalanced.

Everyone who opens HT capsule right now, I would suggest either holding on to the item or checking the Auction House for the current price of the item! The market is super volatile right now and some items are going for 300m+ from the capsule.

"Hidden town" please someone install grammarly for TNT lol I'm sure that they'll change the avatar to only require you to buy the capsule 1 time after the price changes, but god that puts all of us out who purchased 1 capsule already, thats a 10 mil loss. I'm commiting to four more now :( There is literally nothing of worth for 50 mil a pop. x( goodbye my 100 mil bank savings, may nsheng save us all!
