Canva 2.0 New Features: More Design Pages
Canva 2.0 is a bit of an Easter Egg hunt and I've just discovered a change to the number of pages you can have in a design - this is brilliant! But approach with caution. In this live tutorial in my Facebook Group, I've also discussed the issue of Canva stalling and the care you need to take in larger designs, particularly those with more pages, to avoid this happening. For the Canva for Work users here, I wanted to make sure you are making the most of the new free photos and illustrations - there are more than 200,000 - and that you have seen the FREE ONLY filter in the search bar. Hi, I also have a question related to this. If I size my card as A5 and then add the crop marks, does this not reduce my page size? I did a trial one to print at home and, if I trim it along those lines, the card is smaller. If I'm printing at home do I still need to add the bleed and crop options? Many thanks, Sandi.
It would be great to bulk create the page names instead of renaming each and every page

@@SuperStanster You have to use the line element under the Elements tab. But you can’t get it as thin as you could using the older method shown in this video.

Thanks for the video, but I notice that you do not show how to SLIGHTLY rotate an image and then add it to a frame or grid. 90 degree snapping, yes. How can one rotate an image slightly, say to stand a leaning person upright in the frame, say by 10 degrees or so? Thanks for your help. This is the magical 'nobody is talking about this Canva bug' topic on the internet, anywhere.
Thankyou!!! Also when you are downloading several sets of projects, they will have relatable file names, instead of just 1.jpg 2.jpg etc. in duplicate. This will only be a problem when you are uploading elsewhere and you need file names to match the page.

hi there, I guess in this case one is supposed to add that extra mm/space for the bleed? I've created a no-bleed interior for a journal (my 1st ever kdp design )), yet used an element which goes to the edges so kdp rejected the interior showing errors because of that. it is quite a lot of work to redesign it, so I am looking for easier solutions. if the size is 6x9in (for the cover I did added extra space as calculator recommended, but for interior did 6x9 exactly). what would you recommend?

I'm sorry this is not helpful you are not able to move the actual white paper image before you put an actual image down. Even when you put the image down you can only move the image you cant move the whole screen it sucks

▶︎ Such a shame, 360px quality video is way too low :-( For the best quality for the YT viewer, I like to use 1920x1080 :-). I also use 5000x5000px images for all my print-on-demand :-)

Hi, thanks for showing how to work with bleeds. Im wondering what if I have pictures and on the actual download, there is a white frame around it, dont it mean Im risking to have white edges if the printer miss just a mm? How to do with that.
