Fishing in Bad Weather: Why Low Pressure Days Could Be Game-Changers
Переглядів 8114 годин тому
Does barometric pressure really affect fishing patterns? Many anglers believe that changes in barometric pressure-especially before a storm-can trigger fish to become more active and feed aggressively. To test this theory, I hit the water just before a storm front moved in, and the results were pretty convincing! The fish were biting like crazy as the pressure began to drop. This could be becau...

Best Baits to use in Winter to Catch Bass (Fishing these baits works!)
Переглядів 31011 місяців тому
Winter bass fishing demands a strategic approach, and anglers often turn to a variety of lures to entice sluggish bass in cold water conditions. Speed crankbaits prove effective during winter, as their rapid retrieve can trigger reaction strikes from lethargic bass. The erratic action of jerkbaits mimics injured baitfish, making them a go-to choice for enticing bites. Finesse jigs excel in imit...

Use These Baits to Catch More BASS in Fall!
Переглядів 780Рік тому
As temperatures begin to cool, changes in fish behavior and feeding patterns occur. During this time, most bass migrate shallower waters in preparation for the upcoming winter. Successful anglers capitalize on this movement by adjusting their bait selection to mimic the bait fish that bass are chasing. Jerkbaits and Crankbaits become effective baits for covering water quickly, mimicking the err...

BFS is a waste of money. Ultralight spinning tackle serves same purpose for way less cost.
Great Video Brotha, Awesome Explaining Everything Thanks For Putting A Video Up
Appreciate the kind words, Amigo!
Absolutely!!!!!!
Nice Picture in Picture feature
Good video Compa. Science based. Get yourself a barometer. High pressure = warm clear skies. Low pressure = windy or rainy. Blow up a balloon & let air out. High pressure moves to areas of low pressure. Hence storm fronts. Great real world connections Compa
Thanks, Compa! We should do a colab. “The Science of Fishing “
Watcha el vato!!!! Awesome content Mr Verdugo
Thanks Amigo!
your video quality is good. but you are getting not more views and subscriver ? your channel has 391 subscriber and 33 video If you SEO your channel's videos, you will get enough views and subscriber, your videos will rank in UA-cam's search results.
Interesting! Good to know!
I appreciate you telling us what you're throwing so I can learn what to use here in Yuma. Thanks
You got it! Glad it could help!
Love the drone shots! Great editing, better catches
Appreciate it!
Nicely done man, my favorite bass fishing technique is using small swimbaits. The AA has been really low lately especially at drop 2. I’m glad to see some bass being pulled out great video as always.
Thanks, Brotha!
✔︎Good vid! Lovin the action youre getting in the AA. Thanks for sharing your lures & baits. ➔Yes, Bass will bite in cold water, they gotta-eat! haha! I've been successful there too and much further west at the EHL, CM and WM. ★Our Sportsman's Paradise here in the Desert!★
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
That's a good day of fishing. Love Jack Hammers. Hate losing them.
They’re the best but yeah, they can be heartbreakers.
The more trips around the sun we make I’m find myself procuring the lightest equipment possible. I don’t mind paying a premium price for fishing rods especially, allows for more casts and hurts less at days end.
Well said!Thanks for your comment!
Excellent video man 🎣🎣
Thanks!
Crazy quality man keep it up you gained another follower 👍
Thanks! Much appreciated!
🔥
Thanks!
Excellent!!
Many thanks!
Nice catch! Lol about comparing satisfaction with un snagging an expensive or favorite lure and landing a fish, but no matter what, it is really good when you unsag for sure.
For sure!
So Sweet!
Sweet! Nailed that one nicely!
Brandin G Channel recommended you in his latest vid from the AA (Oct 2024). Very Good vid Juan. I liked & subscribed. Your Lure recommendations are great. I use many of them and learned about some new ones. I've been Angling here in IV for decades and use many of the same set-ups. Noticed you didn't talk about Crank Baits . I have success with them, after switching from the Top-Waters, working various depth seekers from 1 ft to 4 ft, then working down the list that you showed working the decending water columns.
Pointer 100?
Sure is. Good eye! I think it’s the 110. They cast better.
I never had a issue with the hooks but I have a heavy action rod for my plopper so I can really hook that fish
Great idea, but it needs an adjustment. Eventually.... this will fail. The hot and cold conditions in your garage will cause the foam to break down and loose it's grip over time. One day you'll raise you door and the rods will fall out. Add a bungee strap or even a tiny ratchet strap to that setup to ensure the rods stay in place.
Great feedback. So far it lasted our 120 degree summer and we are heading into fall now so we’ll see. Sounds like a one year review video to me.😉 Thanks for the comment!
Nice editing and very informative! Thank you!
This is interesting, going try this method tomorrow
Good luck!
What was the distance from your hook and drop shot weight?
It all depends on a couple of things for me. How deep the body of water that your fishing and where the fish are suspended. I fish shallow waters so my hook is typically between 12"-18" above the weight. Good Luck!
I think it imitates leaches…same color?
Same thing happened to me at the albright canal, thought i caught a trophy fish lol
This is a great video man, I have great success with jerk baits especially in the larger canals.
Great catch bro
Thanks for watching
That’s a tank!
Nice catch man !
Thanks!
That's a true fisherman. We try to talk ourselves off the ledge when we haven't caught any, but when we do, that ledge is gone.
Whats the spot that you fish were you catch the most fish in winter Juan?
Ima try this the next time I go out
Nice👌🏽, Tight Lines 🎣.
i want to get more into fishing, thanks for the tips
My pleasure. Just find the time and get out there.
Excellent job Juan.
Thanks, Roy!
Just found your channel. I really like how you “share” your passion for fishing. I too change out all my plopper hooks and I usually use a red one on the front hook. Does it help? Who knows but I do get bit a lot. Thanks for the tip regarding the swivel. Working on my ploppers right now. Good luck with the channel. 😮
Thanks for the comment! As a matter of fact , you and another subscriber recommended the red hook in the belly, so I’ve started doing the red hook now. Hey whether it makes a difference or not, it’s all about building confidence that’s important.
I use whopper Plopped 90s, 110s, and 130s. I landed a 35 pound 50.5" musky on a 130 I repainted in a perch pattern I spray. I caught more than 50 bass on a 110 I painted in a leopard frog pattern. We also caught pike on the 90s and 110s. Your advice for hook size is spot on but......a red hook on the middle hook screw eye with a split ring of course is a key modification. Nearly every fish we caught on these baits no matter the site has are attacked on that middle hook including my huge musky on a 130. Keep the great videos rolling.
That's the second time I've heard to replace the belly hook with a red one. I'll try it. I just put my order in. Great comment!
I use two o-rings for the wacky cross one over the other in an X and place my hook in the X place the under the oring's with out hooking the worm I don't tare up half as much soft plastics as I use to .landed more hook ups running the hook this way dead center top or bottom of the lip 90% of the time I hook up on the fall
the 75 has more twist than a .50 cal I switched over to Choppo's I'll have to give the swivel a try
Both great top water option to cover water. Thanks for the sub and comment.
Great info n tips sweet vid, Tight Lines 🎣👍🏽.
Thanks, Bro!
i found some weedless treble hooks and changed mine out to fish around lilly pads and such and they work pretty good
Good tip!
Greetings from San Diego, New sub.

Great first time experience with the Chatterbait...Otonobee River,Ontario. Canada
