Thanks for this lovely video. It’s a shame Steve Hannah the keeper of the tower didn’t know you were visiting as he would have opened it up so you could look inside. I’ve visited several times and the inside is fascinating. There’s even a small prison cell adjacent to the incredible period kitchen.

Great place, but be very careful , the walk down into the gorge is very trecherous. I personally prefer GlenFiddich😁

Very nice video. I enjoyed the leisurely walk around the castle ruins, poking your head into all the nooks and crannies, just as I would have done. Every time you showed a fire place I wanted a roaring fire to dispel the cold and damp of that day!

ALL the stone carvings on the walls are modern. None are ancient. The celtic cross has been there the longest, but even that one isn't ancient.

It is one of the most beautiful, quaint & charming wee Kirks in Scotland. It is actually much larger than it looked in other videos I had seen. You're filming & footage here, as well as your interesting Commentary, really did it proud! It truly is so impressive in every way, both inside & out! The Architect did an outstanding job of designing & building this amazing wee Church. Such remarkable Workmanship! Moreover, the History of St Conan's is also really fascinating & so intriguing! Visited the tower today when there were volunteers on site so we had a tour inside. It’s impressive in its current condition and will be lovely when finished.

I managed to visit there, when I was last on the Isle of Bute.
