Well, I already had the 4runner so going to the GX it was really nice to have the V-8 and extra torque Plus you have six gears! Go ahead give it a test drive and see what you think But just with the GX, you’ll have to put some money into it to make it Off Road ready The Trd pro will already be ready

I test drove one really nice I like the v8 for sure very smooth. If you could get a used 23 or a new 24 pro right now what would you get?

I would like to go to Utah, The Redwoods in CA, Northern Idaho, WA State etc. I have nowhere specific as this is my first cross country trip. I also have an a6700 Sony Alpha series camera and a couple lenses to film content.

I'm all for being armed at all times but you'll never see me displaying a weapon off-road, this is cringe. I get out into the middle of nowhere to relax, not to be worried about what might go sideways with other humans.

Once you’re off the pavement, it is considered to be off-road. Sheesh, people’s idea of what’s “offroad” is ridiculous. This IS off-road. Baja racers on dirt roads going 60+ mph I guess isn’t offroad using your logic, smh.

@@yota22RE81 It’s a fact that dirt roads are in fact roads. 🤣 There is an immense difference between a dirt road and a trail or off-road.

@@kerplunk38880 you should have Wikipedia to correct their statement on what they consider “off-road”. Just because the dirt roads have a name doesn’t mean it’s not off-road. Tell me, what’s the clear distinction between “on-road” and “off-road”? You must not do any off-road, hence the question in the first place. Might as well call dirt roads with street names pavements using your logic for “on-road” vs “off-road”.

the biggest con I see, is you have to disassemble the tent everytime you want to move the car. depending on what type of camping you do this might be a deal breaker.
