I have the milltek non res gpf back race exhaust on my TCR and it definitely does not sound like this it's way more muffled. Are you sure the one in the video hasn't had a decat/gpf delete?

Yep I got the milltek gpf back race non res exhaust on my TCR and it's definitely subtle. Lots more lower end rumble and not much pops and bangs. Gives the 4 pot the best sound it can be but certainly doesn't make the thing pop and bang like the akra. I like mine but it's nothing crazy, gpfs I suppose.
Completely agree mate, just had the same fitted on mine.. with the titanium burnt tips! Looks the part but expected a little more with the sound

@Helle TCRI have heard the Ego X exhaust in person in another TCR and when the valves are opened it is a bit more louder than the Milltek. However, if you want the CEE aprovement, the valves only open from 0-20kmh and above 80kmh, the price is much higher and the installation is much harder than the Milltek. Thanks for commenting!!!

@Helle TCR Great decision! Valves are useless if you have DCC, just sayin'... Also valves can mess up things if they happen to be closed while you push full throttle! 👍

It is the Milltek resonated catback with the mid pipe not resonated MSVW402REP and with the OEM GPF downpipe. I am working on more videos in which the difference with the oem can be appreciated. 👍

It is also on my GTI Clubsport. But insane improvement when getting the non res Cobra Sport catback, or even just the VAGSport res delete. Check soundcheck videos on my channel! 👍
