I am catching a replay. I am planning my 4 day 3 night trip to Mexico this December. I need a place to say and want to meet some expats while I am there.

Hi Michelle, I've heard you mention that you have a village/community to help in the raising of your son in Mexico. This the way it should be but is sadly non-existent in Anglo-North America. As a single mom, I'd live to know more and is the main reason for me wanting to move abroad. Would you mind sharing which people make up that sense of community for you? Is that friends, or neighbors (locals or other expats?) or hired help (locals) that is more affordable than in the US? How long did it take to establish those relationships after the move? What is the best way of meeting these people?
