Great episode once again, thank you coaches🔥🔥
Is this Herb Perez?
Haha never seen one of those games!
Some great points discussed her gents. Coach Juan's comment on how Taekwondo currently has a culture of creating bad imitations of who ever is on top! Classic and bang on point.
It's sad that politics in USAT has cost the USA viable talented coaches such as TJ and Coach Moreno
I don't have nearly as many accomplishments as the panel, but I agree wholeheartedly with the current state of Taekwondo. In an effort to keep everyone honest, the EBP system was put into place. As a result Taekwondo in general, the sport in particular, the sport has become somewhat of a giant video game. Virtual Taekwondo Sparring is a shining example of this. Sadly, this is making the martial side of Taekwondo a laughing stock within the Martial arts community. IMHO we're witnessing the same or similar tactics that were once used by Bill Superfoot Wallace ( The front leg fencing game) Which has traded accuracy in favor of circuit completion.
Great talk gentlemen 🥋👊👊👊
Great insight coaches! Thank you for this opportunity to hear from all of you.
I enjoy master Moreno's very good and well-reasoned arguments for why things are and how they work that boomer Perez is entirely impervious to because he just wants everything to be the exact same aesthetic he had 30 years ago.
Chris, I want to thank you for taking the time with me today at the Battle Of The Martial Arts. I hope we can work together on the Virtual Competitions project. I will see you in the morning.
Glad to learn and practice these lessons
عالی
The guy I always spar with with just jam in and clinch if I stepped long. He almost never backs up.
The EBP system and the game changes is what GM Bobby Clayton referred to as a paradigm shift.
Great interview bro those were the day.
That's my Sa Boo Nim!
Arlene Limas is one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. Thank you for everything you did for all of us.
Great programs. This guy looks like Ron DeSantis (governor of Florida)
21:10 anger story
Now I can say, "I'm not obsessed, I'm dedicated!"
#Adapt #LetGo #Change
GM Perez- thank you very much for giving exposure to the US Armed Forces Taekwondo history
I'm privileged to be taught by Mike!
Excellent Pod Cast, Grand Master Michael McKenzie has a distinguished career and his advice to look at the big picture is particularly important. Thank you for this interview GM Herb Perez. Master Starling
kind words
Congratulations, our respect and admiration for our President, GM Gerard Robbins, and for Grand Champion Herb Perez.
GM.Herb Perez Congratulation on your Program Excelent interview with the Founder of the Official Taekwondo Hall of Fame GM.Gerard Robbins I wish you the Best keep up the good job like always 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Two great leaders talk Martial Arts, Thank you GM Perez for that inspiring interview of GM Corrie a great leader, Martial Artist and human being.
Great interview with GM Corrie
Hard to believe all the fighters in the show were actual martial artists
Thank you so much for these interviews, they have all been fantastic.
Awesome!
Hear! Hear! Well said, sir.
Glad you all pointed out how difficult it was to get a fair shake in the US. It made me quit. Too much work to get cheated. What a shame, cause at that time it was one of the most dynamic sports hands down. If you tell someone you competed in TKD today they'd look and laugh. 🤷🏿♂
Wow! A couple names I haven't heard in ages. I remember cover punching Master Graf into the next realm in Des Moines Iowa.. 😳 I try to tell folks how hard you kick but they don't understand. 🤷🏿♂
I only wish had known about this channel sooner, GM Herb.
As his current student and my daughter also being his current student, I can truly say we are lucky we ended up in his Dojang. He has been a positive influence to my 6yr old and reminded me of never giving up even when it gets hard. My daughter has been with Grandmaster since she was 3yrs old and when she entered pre-K 4, she was well ahead of her age mates when it came to discipline and manners and I know it had something to do with starting taekwondo at age 3 at Gentle East TKD.
Excellant
I appreciate this podcast. Great work and content. Thank you 🥋
Absolutely loved this podcast. GM Holloway was a great influence to me throughout the multiple stages of my taekwondo career. 🙌🏽
cool lyrics!
Great conversation and topic matter 🙌🏽🔥🙌🏽
Great interview 🎉
What's that stupid noise?
That's same as your voice..

Im telling my kids this was the green power ranger
I wish those guys were crazy famous.
Sounds like great advice to me.
Good fighter. Too bad he's a jerk.
Sorry that I know of him only from the old WMAC Masters show. Lol. Herb Perez: Key Symbol Olympus. I mean no offense. I just know that that show had top martial artists of all disciplines.
I sparred with a former national champ back in the day. Oren Gautreaux, literally OG. These guys can kick your head off your body He went easy on me. Hence my head is still attached
i remember this guy from wmac masters
