O senhor e lindo
Thanks Captain. You're special yourself!🌊🇺🇸👍🏻
Nice video sir, thanks
Thank you Sir. You said perfectly.
Honesty is slowly becoming like common sense, a rare commodity.
Good words, Captain. Thanks.
Thank you for your service!!
Meritocracy is the only objective way. Now there are certain groups mired in poverty that have a hard time breaking the cycle and becoming who God made them to be. The enemy is poverty and sin, not virtue and eachother
Hello🎉
I enjoy watching Les’s videos. Reminds me of long talks with my grandparents. Love from Dublin🌸
Taking notes is a great practice. I think it helps with memory even when you don’t ever read them.
Indeed.
Was this recorded recently, or a long time ago?
Recorded two years ago when this 100 year old was 98.
While serving in the Navy I volunteered for the Emergency Reclamation Team which would guard a crash site of one of our squadrons aircraft if they went down. Never got called to a crash though. We did have mishaps but they were in the ocean off the carrier.
Thank you all for viewing and commenting.
Ooh, the big bad bear is coming, ooooh....ridiculous
And they all had a very nice dinner. Crab Casserole, I believe.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
Thank you for sharing your insight!
Happy 100th Birthday Les!
I would love to hear about examples of when Les was guided by a Super Being to do the right thing. For example pulling up on the power of the helicopter to avoid hitting the trees below or turning his head to the left to see his future wife Carol for the first time just coming out of her house. I'm sure there are many more examples.
It becomes a way of life. One can attribute all grace to the Almighty.
Thank you Sir. I appreciate your time to share yourself with the world. I'm blessed to have had parents and family of your generation, and the values you lived by. I'm passing this along to my young recent highschool graduates, all good kids, who will be even better humans hearing your wisdom. Take care and may The Lord continue to bless you and your family.
Amen sir. You must lead by example.
Oh this is so sweet! Thanks for sharing! What inspired this channel?
"Sea stories" long over due, toward the end of one's life because Les was not going to write a book, we videoed discussions and decided to share on UA-cam. A tribute by Les's beloved USCG Academy Class of 1965 was also an inspiration for this channel.
USCG keeping the watch always. Much respect to them.
Yes, Cptn High .. respect IS EARNED, not demanded. Thank you for your excellent service ♥
A heartfelt salute to you sir! You've earned the respect of a man 30 yrs your junior for your dedicated service to democracy and sanity. Thank you.💪🏻
Guess I am the dumbest guy "God" has ever produced. Thank "God". Truly a gift.
Simply believe, and righteousness will follow.
Well, there you have it. Indisputable evidence that the fear of death can make people believe anything.
Saving this for my grandkids…. Rule 1 of life as an adult

A thousand times true! Like Jesus. But how to become straight, Sir? I'm training my body, I've given up a lot of things that harm my body and mind, but I haven't gotten straight yet. Doubts settled in me like worms in my liver.
Just remember that doubts can only come from truths being questioned, which means those truths exist.
@@owlcu Thank you, it's a worthy answer.
Love the old stories. Keep telling them Captain. Thank you for your service.

Capt High... Semper Paratus Coastie! I am a USCG Vet, a USMMA grad (KP '95), Naval Aviator and now a Nurse Practitioner. The story of Capt High rings true to me as it may have 30 years ago when I started my USCG career. Capt High continuously fought the tides that were against him & he came out on top. It is my goal tp do the same. SEMPER PARATUS! ACTA NON VERBA!
