    Might be good for you guys but to me all it does is takes great precision welders like me and replaced my job somewhere and somehow. I guarantee that I am weld as good and as fast as your machine. 40+ years master welder. 😊

      We completely understand your concern about automation and its impact on skilled welders like yourself. We’ve never replaced one of our welders with automation. Instead, we've found that it helps us handle the mundane/repetitive tasks, freeing up welders to focus on the more complex and challenging projects. When it's implemented right, it will boost productivity, not replace workers.

    This does look good. But it is worth noting that if you use a TIG pulse of 0.05s, the gap will be much smaller.

    I could see that being useful for the inside diameter of long length hydraulic cylinders. Too bad that setup can not reach into the cylinder.

    Is this similar to flame spraying?

  • @TricksterJ97
    @TricksterJ97 2 роки тому

    Powdered metal is transported from the nozzle to the part by a gas, which is probably also providing the shielding from oxidation. The laser, instead of a flame or electric arc or plasma is providing the heat input to fuse the metal.

      Лазерная наплавка - это использование лазерных лучей с высокой плотностью энергии для быстрого расплавления сплавов с различными составами и свойствами для формирования на поверхности металла слоя высокоэффективного сплава с целью повышения износостойкости поверхности, коррозионной стойкости, устойчивости к высоким температурам и окислению деталей.

    This is just really nice. It's "I really wanna have one of those machines!" nice. I don't have any money though. I dare you to send me one free of charge and I double dog dare you to pay for both overseas shipping and customs as well. I really want to create a danger donut of extreme internal stresses. Something that'll make a maker reconsider ever stepping foot in his shop ever again. If stresses from SLS processes can launch mounting bolts through the top of a machine, I want to make a part so dangerous that it'll make an unstoppable force think twice about not stopping and an immovable object think trice about not moving out of the way. I want to make a part that contains so much potential energy that it can not, by it's very nature, be long for this world, because it is leaving and it does not give a damn what the roof is made of. You know what, just send me the value of the machine as a wire transfer. Only an insane person would ever pay this much for shipping and customs. No need to thank me, you're welcome. 😄 Really nice video quality btw!
