Thank you for your comment. I used a Marshall 50th anniversary model JTM1W for this performance. I did not use any effectors because the purpose was to record the original sound of the guitar.

Nice example! Thanks for posting. Many years ago (1970's) I had in my possession a late 50"s/early 60's Strat exactly like the one featured here. It sounded exactly the same out of my 1974 Fender Deluxe Reverb. It was nice to play, but honestly, I was not too crazy about the sound compared to my 1974 CBS Strat. I could never get the old axe to give me a heavily distorted sound. It was lent to me by the girlfriend's brother's friend who eventually asked for it back since it was his Dad's and he was in hot water because he had loaned it out. It was fun while it lasted. I didn't realize at the time how valuable they would become, otherwise I would have made an offer to buy it.
I had an 1969 sunburst/rosewood…stat back in my band days 70’s…I kinda agree some of those 70’s strats were ok..heavy but the music when I was playing super reverb..then ampeg tv 22 ..a killer amp..
That Strat has the sound!
