Looking back at series 1 D’Artagnan and Constance were in love from the start but didn’t realise it yet. D’Artagnan found out he cared about her in episode 4 when he saved her from being attacked by that man but found out he love her in episode 7.

They look and act so much like a couple in this series. Loved the bit where Strike told Robin Charlotte had expected him to run onto the church and save her. Hark back to the beginning of Lethal White where he ran into Robins wedding. Also love that the reclining redhead portrait cuts to Robin sleeping in the office. It’s often what’s unspoken between them that makes their relationship so interesting. Love the Strike series, it’s my go to binge watch

ive watched this 4 times lol and am back a day later, i just love seeing a man who is tender and actually has visible emotion! There isnt even much dialogue between them but so much feeling. love them!

I haven't seen the new season yet, but Strat supremacy, the smile Pat has when Strike leaves the office to help Robin move, and watching Strike not being able to say the words even to Ilsa at the end, it all is driving me insane........ Aaaaaargh, we need the adaptation for the Running Grave tomorrow!!! (And the next book, too, omg I have never been as an adult more excited about a book release!)

I was actually disappointed in the tv shows version of Shankar. Not at all what I imagined when reading the books. Oh well, still a good actor, made me chuckle a few times.
