Cockatoo's are actually ass-holes, they bully other birds, play pranks on other animals, destroy things just for the fun of it and are a general nuisance about the place.

The best thing is let them have freedom with bonding,Ihave been feeding my blue jay and chickadee and two other kinds for few years ,they come to my balcony,and jay jay is the best, he looks for me through window for more and peak into it

Here in Ohio,to my great good fortune,I had a chickadee eat out of my hand,but Aussies..oh! Cockatoos, kookaburras and magpies all readily interact. So cool!
