Cal and @unculmike work on cars. Often times they run worse or even stop running all together, but occasionally we do succeed. We specialize in GM cars and trucks, Volkswagens, and have a ton of knowledge on LS engines.
Alcohol flathead briggs go kart engine running on HAND SANITIZER!
We finally figured out I purchased this engine in 2018, and I've never heard it run. She needs a refresh for sure, but what a great engine to test on!

COPART Cabana! MK6 Volkwagen GTI Engine Swap for CHEAP!

My mk6 GTI broke or spun a balance shaft. When this happens, oil passages can get blocked, chains can break (that drive the oil pump) or the pickup screen can become blocked. I was concerned that the engine was starved of oil and decided to buy a wrecked VW from copart and use it's engine as a donor. This week we get the engine out of the GTI and all the parts swapped over. Copyright: All music...

It was one of those muggy, sweltering South Alabama afternoons, and I was determined to fix the timing issue on my old Chevrolet. After hours of watching videos, talking to my dad for advice, and getting my hands greasy, I finally felt like I had a handle on things. I’d been tweaking the timing belt, adjusting the distributor, and making sure everything lined up just right. Finally, after what seemed like forever, I was ready. I turned the key, and the engine roared to life, smoother than it had been in years. I grinned, feeling a surge of pride. I had done it-all on my own. That sense of victory washed over me, the feeling you get when you’ve tackled something tough and come out on top. Just as I was basking in that moment, my dog wandered over, wagging his tail, curious about all the commotion. He sniffed around the car and, before I could stop him, jumped up, thumping me right in the nutsack with his paw. I doubled over, groaning in pain, but the absurdity of it made me laugh. I had just conquered the engine, and here I was, taken out by my dog. But the chaos wasn’t over. As I tried to recover, still hunched over, I watched in disbelief as my dog trotted over to the gas tank, tail still wagging. Before I could do a thing, he lifted his leg, squatted down, and-with zero shame-took a dump right into my open gas tank. I stood there, mouth open, the sweet taste of victory quickly soured by the smell and sight of my dog’s deposit. Fixing the timing was tough, but now I had a whole new problem to deal with. Life really has a way of humbling you, one ridiculous moment at a time.
When I turned 18, my dad gave me the keys to his old truck-a piece of family history. That summer, I spent hours cruising back roads, high on meth, feeling invincible. One night, while speeding down a dark road, the truck stalled. When I popped the hood, I found a hidden compartment with a note in my dad’s handwriting: “If you’ve found this, it’s too late.” Suddenly, the truck came to life on its own. The doors locked, and it took off, speeding uncontrollably. In a flash of light, the truck and I were somewhere else-a place not quite real, and far more terrifying. Turns out, my dad didn’t just give me a truck-he gave me a curse.
I remember that chicken with no eyes moving through the barn, its steps awkward but determined, as though guided by some unseen force. It was a strange sight-so vulnerable, yet strangely assured, as if blindness had honed its senses beyond what eyes could offer. Nearby, a tiny baby mouse, barely old enough to know fear, stumbled across the straw, exposed and defenseless. The blind chicken paused near the mouse, its beak gently pecking at the ground. For a moment, it seemed like the universe was weaving a quiet moment of protection-one small creature shielding another from the chaos of the world. But then, something shifted. The chicken, perhaps confused or driven by instinct, turned its head sharply and struck. Its beak came down, again and again, until the fragile body of the baby mouse lay in tatters beneath it. What had begun as an unlikely moment of tenderness spiraled into something brutal, a reminder that nature's indifference is often masked by fleeting appearances of kindness. Blindness, it seemed, was not just a lack of sight, but a disconnect-a reminder that even in the moments when we think we’ve found sanctuary, the world can still turn vicious without warning.
Its not ethanol is meth-and-all
Ethanol*
That mane is majestic!!
That’s probably because the hand sanitizer contains ethanol or isopropyl alcohol, usually around 60-70%. It’s also good for making smores inside since it’s temperature is extremely hot when burning

Rail
Buy another project
The rail for sure no question
1 OBS 2 841 3 rail 4 square body
The thing closest to get running with the least amount of time. In that way you'll get more things ready to go faster, which is nice as you come to the point of wanting to use them.😅
well, There's a Case of beer in the fridge that needs drinking, So I'll probably start there.
I find tackling the hardest job first more efficient.
Anyone who doesn't say "the chicken" is lying.
Rail…. For sure!!!!
A for sale sign. Without a doubt.
I guess whatever you'll need the most, the soonest. The rail is fun, but you can always work on it in the winter. Tractor too if you don't need it now, to harvest anything.
My Buick needs an oil change the Blazer needs an oil change the wife's van is at 15% oil but today I built a rock climbing wall in the playset for the kids and dismantled the brake switch on the Blazer and spent a hour looking for my multimeter. I was supposed to clean the garage and post my motorcycle for sale. I got you bud.😂
Use it to your advantage and work on whatever strikes your fancy
That hardest to get it out of the way
That 841 is MINT I have one, nice tractor
Rail
Mans gonna have a heck of a time herding them chickens .. let alone all them projects
Do the general maintenance on the tractor first. Its all little shit and you can check it off your list to get the dopamine hit. Then fix the OBS. Probably sand rail next.
Which is it ADD or ADHD? Because I have both and they are different things
Chickens
Square body without question
I don't keep projects. If i don't use it for a year it's gone and the money is used for something else actually useful. If i can't or won't fix it within a year it's gone.
SELL THEM AND GET SOME UPGRADES
Make a plan
Definitely the sand rail
Rail!
hehe the square body

What membership you ended up getting for corpart???
I have the basic membership. If you're not pressed for time, sign up for the free membership and wait for them to offer a discount on an annual membership. That discount can be up to 50% off.
Is there any limit on how much we can bid using the basic membership ?
@@karthikg9594 Initially it's $2000 limit, but you can increase that limit with a deposit. Every $100 that you give copart to keep on hand (100% refundable deposit) gives you an additional $1000 in buying power.
@@CalandMike awesome, thanks for the quick response.
