Good morning and welcome to Two-Headed Wolf Gaming!
Some people go out running, others look into their daily agenda, but I wake up early every morning to grab a cup of coffee and play a game.
I loved games my entire life and as I grew older, I decided that I will keep this passion in my life. So this is my way of finding time for what I love.
In time, you will find all kinds of games on this channel, however I'm a bigger fan of RTS and RPG.
I'm a casual gamer with a bit of an expectation to get better and better, especially with multiple playthrough's.
I'm working on developing this channel into a fun experience! It'll take some work but look forward to it!

Witch of Bones - Path of Exile 2 (Early Access) - Ep.2
During an episode, we will be upgrading the character and run a couple of maps to check the power level. Outside of the episode, I'm going to spend time leveling up and gathering gear without using any of it until I start the next episode. In this way, we skip the farming part which can get boring after a while and we have some fun talking about the choices that I'm making while getting a glimpse into my thinking process. If you have ideas or questions, leave them down in the comments bellow. I hope you'll enjoy it!

Farthest Frontier is a city builder which keeps the basic of a good city builder and adds a few innovating ideas which only got better and better through the early access. Now that it's getting closer to its full release, I felt I had to return and see how it evolved. Don't be afraid to buy it though, it is worth the price. Charging the blast fully against single targets is useless, half the bones fly past them
This looks fun. I might have to try it <3
As long as you're OK with the slow movement while casting, it has a lot of potential and yes, it is fun!
Do you not benefit from wall of flame with your bones? Nearly all projectiles do usually
I haven't played with a sorceress yet so it didn't even cross my mind, but it does sound like a great idea! I think it might work with a higher cast speed or a longer firewall duration. By the time you build up the attack the firewall is either gone or enemies have moved passed it. I'll look at it but thank you for the suggestion!
To generate more power charge, try using the Spirit gem that makes clone of yourself when you dodge and it gives you a charge if it dies by enemy attacks, or there is the Monk tier 1 skill that has culling strike as well, its physical attack that jumps you the enemy BUT your power siphon is actually better then the Monk one.
You could use unearth with power siphon and your 2nd weapon slot use bone blast. Also support gems that give you 35% chance not to consume power charge but still use it for the new bone skill and on the power siphon skill there is a 25% chance to get +1 power charge support gem.
@@roxoiva Looking at the passive skill tree, the assassin might be an awesome class for this skill with plenty of nodes in range for physical damage, power charges and a few cast speeds.
This build has potential to be "1 button" build
I'm very curious to see if I can get there as well.
I have been enjoying your series so far! I was surprised to find a dual wield playthrough as not many people are attempting one. Good work!
Hi i have loved watching your videos, if possible can you make the tempo of your content little bit faster? I love the pace but its little too slow, Of course do as you wish <3. KEEP IT UP!
Thank you for your support and feedback! I'll work on making it smoother.
@@THWolfGaming If you haven't started your next character can you make Crossbow without grenades? just Guns ammo (you can use elemental damage) like electric chain.
@@roxoiva I was thinking about a witch without minions (as much as possible) and bone skills, because they don't seem to work well as an individual build. But I never played the crossbow or looked at the mercenary (assuming that that would be my first choice for the weapon). No promises for the next character but I'll do it with the one after that, in a couple of days.
Around 21:30 The reason you couldn’t heal was that you only had 1 ap. Enjoying the series so far!
I just hate that it needs triple attribute requirement thats insane, the only way to mitigate this using the a unique helmet called vertex which reduce 50% requirement of all your gear
I think I'm ok with the overall choice as PoE always felt like a puzzle to me. And if it was easily obtainable, then everyone would have it all the time and it would take from the other choice of a simple one handed weapon. Don't get me wrong though, I really wanted to make it work on this character and I hate that I can't 🤣
i dont even use 1 hand mace what ur gonna do with that lol :D
😄I'll work at making it work
So on the episode that I'll post today, I'm priming enemies for for a stun using a one handed mace with leaping slam and explode them on causing heavy stun using boneshatter supported by aftershock. Works really well and it gives me an open hand to get a shield for protection. This worked better than expected 🤣Try it
Is it true you can only get level 2 support gems from trading before act 3?
Probably yes, all support gems i get across three tries were lvl 1
Probably so. They are definitely very rare and become very common as you progress through the game. I haven't kept a good track as I've played as much as I could since the release in early access, across multiple characters and threw everything in the stash. So it is likely that I picked one from there rather then finding it. I'm sorry for the confusion.
Can tell you it's a bad idea immediately. Losing a shield for a bit more attack speed has never been worth it and never will be. It gets worse and worse as the game goes on. Scaling your defenses is extremely hard, scaling attack speed is easy.
Mmm I can see what you mean. For the physical and armor breaker weapon set, I want the extra dps too. For the fire set which triggers explosions with stun, you might have a point there and I don't need it, so I could replace it with a shield. I still want to work on a dual wield as an experiment and try to make it work, especially because I will be able to go back and keep testing it as the game gets big updates through Early Access.
Really like your idea of farming in between episodes to get gear and skill gems, then spending time at the start to show what changes were made. Each time means your character gets stronger. Which ascendency are you looking to spec into for this dual-wield build? I picked Titan btw.
I'm really happy to hear it! I like working with this idea. For the ascendency I thought I would go with Titan as well for the extra bonus on small nodes and all the slam effects. But in the end I went Warbringer because I'd like to explore the amour break mechanic further and there are few interesting nodes on that side plus I want the jade protection.
@THWolfGaming Ok awesome! Even better because then we can see how warbringer works out compared to Titan for dual wielding. Maybe also show us some tough boss fights here and there to spice up the content, I think you didn't show a few bosses in Act 1 which I was hoping to see, like the count haha. Anyways keep up the good stuff man you really deserve more followers.
@@Raiethne I'll think about the boss idea for the future. Thanks for the support! 🍻
Very lucky find at the end there on that armor! That 50% cold res and chance to prevent death will definitely come in handy for the next while
Yup! And I always find it difficult to let go and replace this sort of gear with something else 😄
Pretty interesting build so far.
As I've been farming around, I'm starting to understand what I want to do with it and also what I'm missing. I will need some skills from the higher levels, so I'm thinking of making some much needed changes in the meantime to improve the flow. Should be an interesting next episode.
This is good stuff. I'm looking to start a dual wield warrior myself and I'm looking forward to seeing how your experiment develops. Good luck with the build and the channel, I'm sure you'll get more followers quickly.
Thank you for your support!🍻
Nice. Im going dual wielding too. Expecting to see more of your vids!
How far do you want to go? Dual wielding two-handed weapons and invest in a lot of strength?
@THWolfGaming I'm in the level 40s doing two handed maces. Yes mostly in strength, Crit, and bit of attack speed
@THWolfGaming I don't think it's very meta build but it sure is fun
@@Raiethne Ohhh, definitely not, but at this point I realized that it doesn't matter in the long run. The game gets balanced so often and it needs so much work, that until the full release, I think it is better to explore as much as we can and learn from experiments rather than be looking for an ultimate build which gets nerfed in 3 days😆
@@THWolfGaming Yup for sure! Hope you have fun with this build haha
why you dont fix little detail..i look your roads not flats.
😆They never bothered me while playing, but now that I'm looking at the video... It's probably going to bother me in the future🤣
here i am just discovering this and it is epic
It is a great game but it has problems on modern gigs, crashing especially towards the end game. There are some solutions but not everybody seemed to make it work. Still, what a gem of the 2009!
You didn't continue
Yeah and nowadays there are so many games I want to play that I don't even know when to do it 😄
You must speak slower at the opening... Really.
Thank you for the feedback! A few people said this recently, so I'll start doing it in the near future.
I'm enjoying your playthrough!
Primero 🎉
I'm currently super tied up with work on my channel... hoping to watch this today - I see you have a lotta new episodes - Im downloading it on my phone, will binge them on my flight next week :)
It's looking great! I wish you all the best with your work and thanks for the support!🍻
Great video man, keep up!
in case you are wondering if anyone cares... I do, I subbed for your gameplay of this game... and I plan to watch this series for as long as you are uploading :) game seems interesting to watch
Thank you very much for the support! It really means a lot!
First 🎉
🤣
i found this game in my randomly in my room, still sealed lol
That's quite cool!
Can you do a Total War Troy Campaign?
Sounds good, haven't done one in a while. What factions would you care to see, besides what I already did?
Hey bro i hope you will read this comment, Can you give me any tip to play this game as i have to? I played 2 campaigns by achilles or agamemnon but i didn’t really take part in the troy battle. Like i want to participate. I’m playing right now memnon like you and i hope somehow i will help troy to defend the city, but i can’t figure it out how to help them, like will they call me to help them? and if i want to participate my army has to be nearby the troy city? I’m really confused how this game works. Thanks for the advice if you respond🫡
Hey there! I want to make sure I understand the question. While playing as Memnon or Achiles (in your 2 campaigns), you would like to join Troy and defend it rather than attack to conquer or destroy it? Or are you thinking about just fighting a battle in the city of Troy?
This stage you raise the hormone adrenaline every year the game is again
This game looks very interesting !
It's familiar city builder mechanics applied very well onto a great idea! I really enjoyed playing it!
I cant find the salt mine? Is it like copper and crystals attached to the mountain?
You are right man, it was interesting in beginning (one of my favorite games) now I’m lvl 80 and it’s boring AF
Yeah, not much you can do about it at this moment. I'm looking forward to the next year of updates that they have announced and hope they will be good!
Not to rain on your parade but level 44 isn't a good indicator of whether or not a build will work. I have two druids myself and it's difficult to survive on end game stuff without some serious specing and item loadout. I'm in the 70's on them both. I'll be continuing to play around with them but I'm hoping they rebalance well in cycle 2. They said they are doing that.
I'm well aware of that!😁At this moment I believe that the strongest and most fun part of Last Epoch is the early game to the early late game with the huge variety of skill and item combinations you can do. The late late game is a bit of a repetitive grind fest of the early stuff, without an exciting return on time investment. For this reason I'm not doing direct build guides because I don't want people to follow it as such and instead I'm going through this sort of episodic progress where I talk about choices and the thinking process behind it, as more of a learning experience for the future, when the dev-team will be bringing improved content. Sometimes builds work late game, sometimes they don't but I'm definitely looking forward for the game's next big changes!
@@THWolfGaming Yes, cool, I understand. I also agree with what you're saying about early to early-late is the most fun. I actually have 5 characters now and only one is 86 because I was able to put in hours with a buddy to make it go easier. The other 3 all stopped in their 70's. I have a new one that just hit 64 or so. Sadly, two of them are Druid's and they one hit stomped by most bosses. I need to re-gear and mildly respec which is a pain in the ass with the gear. My acolytes can maintain distance and survive easer.
lol
I'm not exactly into this kind of games. It's simply not my genre, but this faction is really something that I like. It's fashinating the fact that the Disciples of Anu are able to mutate their bodies and create biological organic weapons. As faction and civilization they are really something incredible. That's the reason why I bought the game originally, other than delve deep into the lore of the Pandoravirus and this new alien ecosystem. The idea of a world that is facing a hard clash between two biomes aliens to each others with maybe two civilizations (human and alien) on it struggling for survival is per se a scenario that I would love to analyze and know. Unfortunately in almost every scenario like that is always Earth the place where such events took place. No one have ever tried to place this scenario on an alien planet. Making the humans looks like the invaders. I think this kind of situation suits more this scenario than that of Phoenix Point. After all we humans have the erroneous convinction that Earth is somehow at the center of the universe like in past we saw Europe at the center of the planet. It is obviously an error. In a sense there was one single game that I have seen and played that have this unique setting. Sid Meyer's Alpha Centauri. Where humans are the aliens on an alien planet that, after their arrival, sees an awokening of the native nature and later even the return of the native sentient species. The same planet in the end becomes intelligent. It was really impressive.
I would definitely love a game with the ideas you just presented. I really enjoyed even the decision of humanity on how to adapt in Sid Meyer's Civilization Beyond Earth. Unfortunately not fully embracing to go beyond what Alpha Centauri did. And I guess money is a big player in all of these, as there are many unique ideas out there on indie studios but not enough budget (and maybe experience or people) to fully realize them. Maybe AI will be the developer for many great games in the future. But I was thinking that in the past the craze for many themes was also driven by movies which were rarer. Or it was for the first time where you could build Egypt or Rome and see it with your eyes and have control over it, instead of just pictures you would see in a history book. That's why a few years ago when Elon Musk started all the talks and rocket builds for a Mars colony program, so many people got into playing games about colonizing and terraforming Mars. It felt possible and something we never delved in deep with our imagination. So as a conclusion, maybe we're overly exposed to many ideas from different media but we're not excited culturally at this moment for exploring the galaxy and how cool that would be. Star Trek being too old to be attractive, Star Wars has a whole different focus and there's little else that is new and interesting. What do you think?
@@THWolfGaming indeed. Personally i'm more of a fan of titles like Alien and Halo, at least until 343i took over. The idea of a unified mankind under the banner of UN was a thing too good to leave. While Alien shows the exactly opposite where mankind is divided and seeks only profit. And both shows such alien cultures and species that are fashinating with such concepts that before I was never able to realize by myself. It definitely marked me.
New to LE, and I love these kind of auto-damage builds with some control for extra damage... You have a build guide and/or loot filter for this?
In my LE videos, I spend a good portion in the beginning talking about the passive and active points I've invested and why, in order to share my thinking process. I've never done a build guide so far, although I thought about it. The reason why I've mostly avoided build guides is because I love trying many ideas, even if they don't turn up to be ultimate builds. And I think that people who invest time in following build guide (like I did in other games) want to be able to beat everything in a decent amount of time. And I feel that it is not necessarily the case with some of my ideas and I just share the lessons I've learned. If you like auto builds with power scaling, check out the Shaman Melee Combat Spell Caster Build playlist I have. Go to the last episode and see if you like how it looks.
Finally someone actually playing this game and not just the starting areas.
I really like the game so if people look for it and they want to see more, I'd love to keep sharing more.
If you're focusing on poison damage and the damage over time I'm pretty sure crit won't help you. Check out Salt the Wound gloves. The convert crit multi into poison penetration so they might be a decent damage boost. Either way it looks good so far. I really like LE in that it feels like you can try out different things like this and don't feel so punished. It's fairly easy to respec and tweak your build.
Great idea, I'll see what I can do. And at the moment I think that trying out build ideas is the greatest part of LE. The end game needs some more time to improve in order to make it super interesting but I'm sure they find a way to do it.
I'm new to LE (coming from a decade of PoE) and so far this is my favorite thing about LE. Seems like, worst case scenario, transitioning has a very minimal time sink so if things don't go your way you can always spend an extra hour or two getting things back to the way they were before... Whereas in PoE, you can literally brick your build for an indeterministic amount of time, or in some cases, even permanently
Bloodkeepers Nest is a relic not a helmet.
I know, I have it as well :D But thank you!
This was my jam back in the days ! I wonder why it's not as successful as other strategy games for me it's one of the best arpg games ever made
This game was released in 2009. Historically speaking, most people agree that 2007 and/or 2008 (there's a bit of a debate here) was a great year for games. Many awesome and game changing titles came out during those years. Just google Metacritic best games for that time just to remember what released back then. So in my opinion, the game was fun and interesting, but it wasn't close to being great enough to compare to the games that came a year or two before, which people were still invested in.😁
didn't see this video at first but I asked in the earlier video what you thought of maybe converting acid flask to fire and using kelthans blasting cap to almost spam decoy to summon bees. May have the extra benefit of always having a decoy out to distract enemies and mayb save you some points in acid flask. I don't think you would need the beekeeper gloves this way. Falcon fist may be a good option instead of the beekeeper gloves
Using the falcon fist instead of the beekeeper gloves might happen very soon, definitely not planning to use those for long. That is for sure a great point. I'm going to stay with poison for a bit longer to see how it all falls into place. P.S. I also replied in the previous video. I definitely find the fire idea super interesting and I'm curious to see it in action.
how about converting acid flask to fire and using kelthans blasting cap so you can almost spam decoy to summon bees?
😁Someone else also suggested this a bit earlier. It really seems like a great idea and I'm definitely very interested in trying it out. Given that someone already made this sort of built with fire, I'm going to stay with it a while longer as to see what we can do with poison. Might not reach the same potential but we might still discover something useful.
Speaking of bee's... i saw some build that someone mixed with explosive trap, and flask. Explosive traps lob around flasks, both traps and flasks spawn bees on explosion. Anyway, dude had like a million bees out in split second and boss immediately had 999 stacks of poison!
I saw the modifier in the second ep, I'm farming now to find a shard or an item with bees on acid flask :D I saw that fire is pretty interesting, but I'll stay with poison for this run as it also seems to have a lot of potential. We'll see how it works in the end.
yah they did this and the build still capped out around 200 corruption, there is just no current way to scale the bees into super late endgame.
@@dane2379 Good to know. I'll try some stuff out for fun but I guess we'll have to wait for the first big bee update.
@@dane2379 Truth be told, poison dots seems to be suffering from some bug or something. I did the all infamous exploding arrow/trap combo as poison based instead of lightning. It can pop enormous ammount of poison dots on mobs but, too often the poison dots seem to be doing no damage what so ever. At one moment they just melt mobs and at the second, you see mob has like 100's of stacks of poison on them and big numbers poping but if you look at their HP's they are not moving! Happens too often to be enjoyable!
cool build man! Just a heads up your increased poison damage won't affect your bees
Thank you! I didn't know that and it's really good information to have!🍻
🙂
how do you get painted Cedar ?
At the bottom of the screen, in the buildings menu, there is a barrel button. Open that and you will find two buttons with columns there. The simpler one is the painted cedar for which you need cedar and dye (for which you need herbs and rock crystals from the mine). The more complex column is ornamented cedar, a more complex production line that requires 8 points of knowledge from functioning monasteries and academies. For them you will need painted cedar and ornaments produced with gold, copper and coal.
You made it look so easy! I tried and had a very hard time!
I know what you mean, but I had a few moments there where I got really close to loosing!😄I think I've learned a lot from it though. I want to be even more efficient early on in preparation for the late game requests in the next map.
