Adding Lightness - rear wiper delete modification! 2017 Civic Type R
This video explains the steps necessary to remove the rear windshield wiper on a 2017 Civic Type R subject car. The same procedure could apply to any of the 10th generation Civic hatchbacks except the LE which has no rear wiper and no hole in the glass.
These steps would be most of the steps needed to add a rear facing dash cam.

Something a little different- In this video, just watch the clouds cruise by, the night lights pop on, and the sun disappear into darkness. The air must not be very good this year because we're getting some bright red sunsets.

Although the car looked great from the last series I did, it wasn't as good as it could be. I got the car in to CeramicPro AutoSpa in Lancaster PA for minor correction, coating, and some selective PPF applications. Ordering a Lightning
Переглядів 329Рік тому
This is a LONG video. This shares how I ordered the 2023 Ford F150 Lightning. At the time I made the reservation, I drove a lot for work and I could make it make sense. Once I changed jobs, I thought maybe I could flip it for a gain but the market no longer supported that by the time the truck actually arrived. I ended up lining up a friend of my cousin to come and take it away.

In this video, I show you which buttons to push and what modes to be in to utilize your electric drive to the maximum. Where we live and at the time of this recording, gasoline miles in this car average about $.20/mile while electric miles cost about $.07. When possible, we charge the car to maximum and use the few free chargers at stores and shopping centers. While we bought this car in Decemb...

After 4 years, 2 months, and about 10 days of ownership, my wife finally took an opportunity to drive the Type R. It's also the first time she drove stick in about 5 years but it's a super easy car to learn. To purchase products used in this video, please visit www.bturismo.com. Follow BTurismo on...

Closing the pool, 2021 with a final message
Переглядів 32 роки тому
2021 was our worst pool year thus far. It was so hot over night that the pool stayed warmer than ever. I was fighting algae almost constantly...which is part of the reason we just decided to close it in October even though it's still warm enough to swim (with heat) until Halloween sometimes. Hopefully 2021 isn't so hot!

Just some POV type of views driving through central Pennsylvania early in October, 2021. I talk a lot in this one and I apologize...but there are a couple spots where you can just hear the engine, and that's pretty nice actually. Enjoy!

Hi! Planning on buying the folding mirrors from your website. I have 19 Hatchback ST with the blind spot camera on the right passenger mirror. Is there a way to install these and keep the camera function or is a one or the other kind of deal? Thank you so much for making these videos
I never made the move to try and get blind spot working but they’re completely separate systems. The blind spot is just an LED driven by a module in the back bumper and shouldn’t interfere with the lane change side camera.
Thanks so much for the quick reply even after all these years. I Apologize for the confusion. So I can install these and keep the lane change camera that displays on the center infotainment system? Am I understanding that correctly?
Good video thank you for putting it together. Since what you have to say can be critically important I would love to see these videos without the awful background muzak it's unbelievably distracting and I'm concerned I'm missing something important but thanks again.
I appreciate the feedback! I’ve been working on getting the levels right and I think this one was at the older settings-
Hi. What is the brand and model of that foam canon? Thanks.
It’s a nameless Amazon purchase but I did the orifice upgrade.
I bought a 2016 MDX in January of 2019 with 53k miles. At 115K it has developed the "undulation" of a warped rotor. It's been many years since I tackled a brake job, but this video reminded me of how relatively easy it can be. I had already ordered the parts online, but I had never heard of a "ratcheting screwdriver", so thanks to you I ordered a Klein brand from Home Depot (didn't want to risk using a cheap-o from Harbor Freight). I pulled the front tires and calipers yesterday evening and will be replacing the pads and rotors later today. And like yours, the pads still have 35-50% of the material left. When I first pulled the calipers, I thought I was fixing something that wasn't broken, but it's the rotors that are the problem and not the pads. Anyway, your video is well made and informative without a bunch of BS thrown in. Many thanks in advance for sharing your experience :-)
That’s awesome that you could DIY and I’m glad I could help without getting dirty again!
Answer is, you just hold the button to adjust your distance. And your toggle between regular and adaptive cruise
You suck bro start with how you change the settings
My campass stop coming up
Hey what rotors you used ? Do they squeek bought oem brakes but hesitant about the oem rotors because of the price per rotor
I definitely didn’t use OEM. I don’t know the brand anymore!
@@BTurismo should I be find if I get after market rotors identical to the factory with oem brakes
@@real24bmore I think so. Bonus if you get cryotreated or anything like that. They’ll hold up better to the elements and resist warping better.
LUV this you are soo smooth and confident , brought back my opinion to do my 2017 RDX !! 😁🌹🥨✨💎🎩

Shouldn’t the transmission be warmed up to a specific temperature then you open the fill plug and let it drain out the excess?
I have solar also but my 2 - 4400 watt inverters just barely handle the 240 volt mobile charger. So I have to use my 80 amp charger on the grid only. Which is fine. Keep in mind to use the 80 amp pro charger at full capacity you will need around 19,200 watts from your inverter. Plus whatever power your home requires. That's a huge inverter. Chances are you're not using your 80 amp charger off your solar system unless you adjusted the output down, which I understand can be adjusted all the way down to 20 amp output. Not to mention, you'd also have a solar array that would produce a minimum of 19,200 watts plus whatever power required to run your home or you'd be depleting your batteries .
Is that a slight knocking from the plugs?
It ended up being a bad coil pack! Water intrusion from the scoop.
Do you know the part number with the side camera mirros sub assembly?
Cool event. Some pretty fancy cars there. Looks like a good day out 🍻
It was great although quite chilly! The even this year (2022) featured drizzle and light snow. We went but didn't stay around long.
Did you ever get the blind spot monitoring to work?
I did not. Too much comes from the BCM.
Where do i find these?
Jdm part numbers for the mirrors in coming. Still looking for the switch 76258-TGH-JO1 76208-TGH-JO1
I sell them at www.BTurismo.com
Why does it show a “cruise main” button when I hit set after hitting main.
I think that is just letting you know the system is active.
@@BTurismo yeah but the acc doesn’t work
@@andrewscott3175 hmm. I think you just push the one button to turn on the system, then push ‘Set’ to set your speed and go. If that’s not working, there must be something else going on.
@@BTurismo yeah not too sure thanks
Thanks dude I just got A Honda And was super confused about the cruise control this is an amazing car
“Trying to balance leg fatigue and clock mgmt-football is on”. Never were truer words spoken.
It only seems to get worse!
Our 2020 Civic Sport Sedan with a 6 speed manual trans has that System works like a charm, Our Civic does shows a shift down arrow when someone slows down to turn in front of you and a small beep letting you know 😎👍.
That’s awesome! I was wondering how it worked on the manual cars!
Ohh man thats cool, Ive been wondering how that worked
Got the kid holding the GoPro 🤣
She's smarter than him. I would never let my wife start driving down the streets until she's comfortable. Get her in the parking lots first. Lol
My pet peeves is when people shake the shifter 😂
Ha! Old habits die hard!
Got one myself in white 2021, tbh i got this car for my family, not many options for a Manuel and hatch for the price, speed and space…
Just found you randomly. Love your family. Keep up the content.
I appreciate it! Thanks!!
Black Type R looks mean, very nice 💙👍
😪 P r o m o s m!
Very good sporty car but not for families and, as you can see in the video, certainly not for "old" men who can no longer properly get in and out of sports seats...🤔😄
You’re right about that-I should have cut out the ingress/egress! Age and size combine in an ugly way!!! This was my only car for years after I got it. My kids were in booster seats back then so it was a little tight… I’m out of practice with it now! I got a work truck for most daily use.
Is this the same replacement for a side view mirror with near side camera?
It would be the same mechanical procedure. I believe you need to have the camera aimed at some point…
Does it help?
For sure!
did yours have the side camera?
No it didn’t. I think the Touring has it but not the TypeR Touring.
You got some good music taste Brian thanks for the informative video
Thanks! I did the same for other cars-video coming soon!
From what I've read on the internet. The phillips screw is used at the factory to retain the rotor as it's moving through the line. Not necessary when doing a brake job, the lug nuts do that job.
It actually is known as a JAS screw which is a bit different...
music too loud, can't hear your instructions
I appreciate the feedback! Can you watch one of my newer videos and let me know if the audio is better? I’ve changed equipment and software…
Hi question the blind spot wire where it connected to ?
I haven’t figured that out yet.
@@BTurismo thx ur video is so helpful I hope u can figure it thx . One more question where u get the connector ?
@@rickytam8442 I had to get the connector from CycleTerminal.com. I think!
Stupid ass music playing the whole time lmfaoo terrible
Yup. Definitely an early video. Pretty sure I made this before I found the license free music.
Great walk thru! 👍👍 I have to replace my 2020 R hitting trash can on the side of a narrow road.
Oh man!! Lucky it’s not worse than that!
When I do my transmission I just measure what came out and put the same amount back in.
So if i replace both the front and rear sets of turn signals to LED, that would mean i should use 2 sets of these TUINCYN 2pcs 50W 8 ohm 7440 right? one on each corner or both sets linked into each other at the front should do the same...
Thanks for the video, very helpful! I'm trying to add folding mirrors to a ridgeline, that uses the same switch. To oversimplify this, If i understand you correctly I just need to connect the 2 terminals at the back of the new switch, to the 2 wires on the mirrors? No other modules are necessary? The new mirror switch itself already has power from the existing connector, and built in relays to handle the folding?
That’s right- the new switch has the relay built in. Just get your mirrors polarity right so the go out and in together and not one-out and one-in. Made that mistake!
@@BTurismoAwesome, thanks! Found tons of info, but couldn't ever find that exact answer.
Why did you have to replace the mirror?
I wanted the European power fold with lane keep indicators, heat, and turn signals.
where did you purchase your new mirror?
My website-www.BTurismo.com
Great video , thanks , just remember to clean the rotors , that they came greasy when new.
After the flow is out, start the engine in gear? Will the oil be reduced? Why not close the screw and start
Why did you first flow out a light yellow liquid, and then it was light red
I think it’s just the lighting. The old GoPro.
@@BTurismo After the flow is out, start the engine in gear? Will the oil be reduced? Why not close the screw and start
@@meilizheng8934 once it starts to leak out the fill port, that’s when you know it’s safe enough to start. Start it up and, in park, fill up the transmission until it drips out. That’s basically it. There is a service mode you could/should do but I don’t think I did that in the video.
@@BTurismo After starting, do I need to change every gear?
@@meilizheng8934 A short run bringing it to the 4th gear.
Is there a dipstick to check the oil level? Or do I have to dismantle the wheel to see the hole flow out before it is full?
There is no dipstick. There is a more specific procedure that requires taking the temperature of the trans and running it thru to the 4th gear to integrate the fluid. If you do it this way, I'd measure the extracted fluid and replace the same amount as a minimum. Some mechanic told me to add about 100 ml additional for good measure.
Is there a dipstick to check the oil level? Or do I have to dismantle the wheel to see the hole flow out before it is full?
There is no dipstick. You fill it until it leaks!
Just wanted to know if it has stop and go.
It will stop if you’re behind a car but it won’t stop for signs or traffic lights automatically. To go, just press resume once the car in front of you starts going again!
Was the transmission fluid changed before this video was done? Found it odd that it was red (Almost like DW-1) instead of the greenish color from the Honda ATF 3.1 that came out of my 9 speed transmission and the new bottles.
I think this was the second time changing fluid on this one, so yeah it was changed before.
