I’m writing as I’m still listening, but what I realized already is that some of these gospel artists aren’t really following God’s word. Mary Mary and Kirk Franklin, for example, supports someone who advocate for abortions and doesn’t put God first or least have morals. So for me, I don’t wanna listen to ppl who doesn’t aligned with God’s guidance anyway. I can listen to Ice Cube, Nipsey, etc because they have substance but I’m not gonna listen to Lil Durk or Sexxy Red. I wanna listen to certain Christian music but I think a lot are being mislead so I feel I’m listening to false prophets, so it’s still problematic. By the way, I just found God not too long ago so I’m still learning but I already see the hypocrisy within this religion or at least the Americans.
