Man if you can make a spiritual success to ksp, you will make so much money. Especially with how ksp2 went you could rally the community together to create something beautiful. -Imske1 (:

Yooo nice build!
thanks for NathanBenOfficial help to make this crane And something bigger is coming :)
:)
How much time it took to build?
2-3 hours i believe but i was with proob thats why i also made a 101 meters tall crane you were fast af tho 1 minute only...
sorry for the video quality i dont know what happened
how many times have you started over again?
its the first time i start over because the project was 1-2 years old so i had functional script but really really messy at first i wanted to just remake each script individually but it would have taken too much time and starting over was simpler :)
Wth
I'm on the fence about buying this game for months, the stuff you can build is awesome, but I'm more worried about the stuff you can do. In in "Evangelion Galactic Survival I download other people's builds in steam workshop, so I never spend anytime building, so what else is there to do in this game?
@@darnellcharles6576 you can do a lot there idk about Evangelion but in this game you can explore, build, fight, play with Friends, you can even build hovercars and mechs and your own handguns (or tool) with 1 or 2 handles, if you dont feel like building you can also browse trough the steam workshop (lot of nice stuff there) Indeed starship Evo is a nice game even tough building is pretty long but rewarding and the game looks nice so its worth buying at least that what i think

a few things: 1. This looks like fun! Even as barebones as it may seem on the frontend, simplicity is key. Overcomplicating things can make it exhausting for you and the vision of the project lost. 2. Occlusion is what is causing your planets to disappear. Essentially the mesh is scaled so large that unity thinks you arent seeing it. Your camera probably has occlusion culling enabled, but it may be working with old data or simply just not working. You can disable it entirely or rebake your occlusion using a cube (that covers the entire level) as your occlusion bounds. There are many tutorials on it and its super simple to set up, like <5 minutes. 3. I dont know if you intended to, but the texture on your asteroids is tiling quite a bit (the repetitive patterns on the asteroid). Of course, the larger you make the texture the blurrier and less detailed it gets. Typically, low poly games do not work with textures but just flat colors. A way you can do this is in blender, bring your asteroid models in, select it in object mode, switch to edit mode and at the top menu: "Select -> checker deselect OR select random". You'll now create a material and assign your selected geometry to that color, giving your asteroids some color variation without worrying about texture stuff. All in all looks fun man!
Oh ye occlusion was the problem and i noticed the asteroid texture timing but i was kinda lazy do fix it so i'll do what you told me thanks you so much ❤ :)
Cool💐!
