It’s one of my favourite Chinese desserts! 😊 The ‘plum’ is actually dried longan, which plumps up in the dessert soup. What u called as an olive is Chinese red date (also dried ones used). Some of the ingredients commonly used in this dessert are Malva nuts, barley, white fungus, lotus seeds, goji berries, lily bulbs, red dates and dried longan. The more premium versions include peach gum and ginkgo nuts. The choice of ingredients in making this dessert really boils down to each individual’s preference.
