You have no idea how this brings me back so many memories. My dad bought me this from Dixons (UK) in 1995/96...i was 14 /15 years old. There were probably 3 more kids in a year above me that had a more superior models than me (Panasonic) with more fancier inline remotes on the headphones and way more sleek player with no visible buttons. The Main control buttons would be along the top where the open deck would be. Never the less, a fantastic piece of kit. I have the SX 10 but don't know where this one went. I think i stupidly threw it away when i was in my 30s and i regret it. I felt i never had the need for it ever again. Now i am 42 i wish i had never threw it away. I member the deep purple colored soft protective case/pouch that came with it. That extra AA battery extention was a life saver in school. I think my first tape was a girl from school gave me a copy of Snoop's doggy style on a maxwell tape. Thats when when i first discovered hip hop. On and onwards to a year Of 2pac tapes...ice Cube Before i left high/senior school to college. Man i loved that walkman. Sony was strong too. Oh and by the way my dad on the same day bought my sister one to. Awai. Another good brand. Mine was £130. I think the Awai was £90. Lot of money for the 90s tbf. Nobody in this day and age would appreciate it.

This one looks spotless after all these years. I used to own one when it first came out. Loved the funny servo sounds of the mechanism. Mine was used until the door lock stopped working.
