Hager had lived with Abraham and Sari for 10 years and Abraham never touched her. At the suggestion of Sari, that Abraham went into Hager as a sarrogate wife to bring the promised son to life. But, Ismael was the son of works and not the son of promise. They are still warring over this even today. Abraham was 75 years old when he was given the promise of a son from God. He was 100 years old and Sari 90 years old when Issac was born. Both of them were dead for reproduction of children. But they had a little visit from Jesus and that changed everything, and according to the time of life Issac was born. Abraham learned not to trust the flesh. That’s a hard lesson even today, but when being lead by Jesus, absolutely necessary. Thanks for sharing and examining these subjects in the light of God’s word. What a blessing and the 2 of you are so cute!!!

God is all knowing and sees the hearts of men; so it would make sense that God's timing is perfect since he has the best perspective of all time (past, present, future). What can we do as humans with limited perspective to try to see things from other perspectives to try to understand God's timing or situations when things seem worse than they maybe are (since we can't see all the details/future events that God can? Also congratulations?! Jkjk I'm just making assumptions based on my perspective- lol. Solid episode although you did call some people out which might get smoky/confrontational 😅
