MAx II Auto Mode 50 kph
Переглядів 284 роки тому
How much does the Max II lose in distace on K Band Auto mode when below threshold for switching to highway sensitivity? About 1/3 detection distance of highway setting on this test.
I’m in Ontario and looking for the same windscreen Do you know where I can buy it
this comfort seat,is it comfort?
It adds that bit more padding to make it much more bearable on long rides or early season. A tiny bit of improvement making just enough difference.
thnx for the review! have the same bike and body height. the buffeting is driving me nuts. few questions. 1. does ure line of sight goes above the screen when it’s in the upper position as well as the deflector or u look through it? 2. do u think the buffeting issue might be solved with just a stock screen + deflector? ty!
I see well over it even in the highest positions. The stock screen IMO wouldn't do the job with a deflector because the curved surface of the MRA is smoothing out the air flow and turbulence. I actually put some rubber grommets as spacers under the top WS bolts to stand up the MRA a bit more as it's a tiny bit low when I have my thicker seat on.
Where can I find this wind screen. If you provided a link Thanks
Have you tested any others? I am between this, puig touring and wrs touring... I don't know what to choose... 🤔I am 6" tall!
Just the factory one. I did a lot of research and decided this one was the best chance to cure most issues. I have since discovered that I could take some thick rubber grommets , placed under the two top windshield mounting screws, to make the windshield more steep in angle to provide more wind protection and deflect insects above my helmet visor. The curve is a little too much and wind was directly onto my visor, so it really got covered in bugs too fast. Increasing the angle steeper (I also did a tiny heat bend but beware of discoloring the plastic) with rubber grommet shims, increased my enjoyment greatly with less wind noise, buffeting and visor debris. Improved an very good windshield to great status and gave the range of adjustments more useful. I also have a higher seat so this would work for a 6 ft person, as I'm 5'11"
I'll never understand why the manufacturer's don't just make the windshields that they they know people are going to want.
Just ordered mine from Germany, when buffering is terrible with the stock screen hopefully this will help! Thank you so much for posting about it…
Any review about this windscreen my friend?
Update?
Looks so much better, thanks for sharing
What’s you’re height ?
5'11"
Well explained. I like it. Just keep it up. Got my like here. p.s. Drop by. You may like it. :)
Great video! I'm also from Canada (MB). Where did you order the windscreen from? Any local dealers?
I ordered out of Italy as I couldn't find any NA stock at the time. No regrets, they shipped fast and no issues. www.ebay.ca/itm/275293347851?hash=item4018c3200b:g:UY4AAOSwIn1ibGd-
Thanks for your review, i just bought a 22 tracer 9 in the redline and I'm 5'7 and I thought the stock windshield would be good, took it on the highway and holy crap the buffeting on top of my helmet is enough to drive me nuts, I had to lower it to get a normal airflow, I've been looking at windscreens and this one seems to be an awesome choice!
I have the same issue with my Santa Fe 2.0T. Needs a new engine. Milage is 100100kms. Thankfully is part of recall.
Thank you for this video. My friend had an issue on this same model car. There were 3 recalls! This was one of them
There is a recall on these cars due to this knocking noise, it may lead to engine stalling and serious crash, I got a 2013 2.4 model and received the recall letter back in June-2017, still waiting for a follow up letter to take it to the dealer, it is now August 2017 now and no news. The letter says if I hear a knocking noise I should take the car immediately to the dealer, but mine has no noise.
sounds like my 2014 elantra . did you find the cause?
did you ever find out why was it making that noise?
