What does this mean for FedEx and Amazon contractors drivers ?
Great to the point video on this topic and thanks for your work. It would seem many trucking companies would pass most prongs of the 6 but where there seems to be an issue is on the prong of permanence. Most trucking firms do not require their ICs to commit solely to their organization but as happenstance many IC drivers willingly choose to stick with reliable trucking companies with good loads that pay consistently and fairly. So to this subject area how is or will be that permanence is measured?

It's been a long time since I've been involved with LDOL ON A STATE AND FEDERAL CONTRACTOR. I am going to ask for help with LDOL CASE
I last spoke to Cal at LDOL and Company was not found in computer about FMLA VIOLATIONS
My employer will not qualify me for FMLA to take care of my special needs son because I was on a leave during the pandemic. So, I did not work the hours needed to qualify for a FMLA. But, can my employer, American Airlines, deny me even though I did them a favor? AA offered leaves in order to reduced employees getting furloughed. I took the leave. It also gave me the time off to take care of my special needs son. AA cancelled my leave. I now have to go back to work November 2021, so I need to qualify for a FMLA to be able to take care of my son since I am back to work. Are there any exceptions to the law (of needing to work a certain amount of hours a year order to qualify), because we were/are in a pandemic? If so, where can I get this documentation?
