2:11 💯 and it's why I no longer book weddings with a guest count of over 120. 9:54 Funny enough, that's one of the main reasons I NEVER get recommend by vendors because I seldom take photos of their work, let alone send it to them or tag 'em. And yes, I make it clear in my copy that I mostly focus on you and the people you invited to your wedding. 10:40 Most wedding food sucks tbh. A shame the average couple invests more money on flowers than good food. Often, I even tell clients to not include me in their meal plan. That's $75-$150 they can put towards something else. Besides, I work best on an empty stomach. A drink or two always helps tho, ain't even gonna lie.

With post wedding regrets, it depends how you ask, be it public or anonymously. Because if it's anonymously, I found that THE two biggest regrets from couples was tipping vendors and having a bridal party (bridesmaids/groomsmen/best man/maid of honor etc.) So I made both topics into blog posts and to my surprise, the 'no tipping wedding vendors' post became the second page to drive the most traffic to my site this year, and even booked a handful of clients because of said post. I suspect the 'no bridal party' post to do well in the coming months.

@emilysummer , this video was very helpful for one of my bridesmaids who is also becoming a bride one month apart next year. I would like to ask your opinion and advice about my situation that is that I have veil wings with my wedding dress that is mermaid style , v backless and its detailed but I cannot make up my mind if I would like to keep my veil wings (that was part of when purchasing but can take off) or to have veil fingertip or cathedral instead of the wings. But is it to much to have veil wings and a veil? Any advice will be helpful. ❤

As a fellow coordinator, I typically tailor my packages to leave either after the first dance or after dinner, as I find there isn’t much left to do once the couple is enjoying dinner or dancing later in the evening. I’m curious about what tasks you find yourself handling during those later hours. I know you mentioned monitoring shuttles, overseeing vendor departures, and assisting with tear down. From your experience, what are some other key responsibilities you focus on during the time between the first dance and the end of the night? Thanks so much for sharing your insights!

We had an absolutely AMAZING experience wedding dress shopping - TWICE! My daughter brought her two maids of Honor and me (MOB) and my best friend. We all just enjoyed the experience and were expecting that all would go well and it did. My daughter tried on 6 dresses and number 6 was everything she wanted. The stylist listened to what my daughter asked for and pulled dresses that she thought would flatter her figure and be comfortable that were the shape she asked for. Then we decided to get a reception dress and went back for another experience with the same stylist. This time we were shopping in the low budget range and it was a big July sale. We found the perfect dress (surprisingly in a very different style that was amazing and absolutely perfect for a reception) for 1/4 the price of the first dress. Now all we need is alterations!!! The tip you gave about wearing flesh colored underwear is really important because some dresses can be quite sheer and this is distracting. And 4 people who all were on Team Bride was plenty to have consensus but not overwhelm the Bride. Great video!.

Retired wedding florist here, and I absolutely love your video! I can't say how many times my job was JUST stating these things and how many times people didn't listen and regretted it. Your tip #7 was TRUTH! That was the most annoying thing I had to deal with is the "copy this picture" bride when her wedding was set for December and she's showing me dahlias 🤦 Or when a bride shows me a picture of someone who did the arrangement wrong or badly and they won't trust we could do it so much better. Yes! Trust your florist! Trust their artistic eye as well as their professional support. They WANT to blow you away with what they can do, so don't give them no room for creativity. You'll be so much happier with the results.
