On Day 2, I had the pleasure of continuing my exploration of Lebanon alongside my local Lebanese friends. Our journey led us to the breathtaking Jeita Grotto, renowned as the longest limestone cave in the Middle East. Inside, we marveled at the awe-inspiring natural wonders, including a serene river boat tour that took us through the depths of the cave. After our captivating experience in the cave, we ventured to the charming city of Harissa, where we ascended via a ropeway to reach the enchanting shrine known as 'Our Lady of Lebanon'. The highlight of this sacred site is an impressive 8.5-meter-high statue of Mary, offering panoramic views of the entire bay area of the Mediterranean Sea. As evening descended, we made our way to Byblos, an ancient city steeped in history and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Strolling through the old market, we savored the tranquility of the setting and witnessed a mesmerizing sunset by the beach. Of course, no Lebanese excursion is complete without indulging in the delectable delights of Lebanese cuisine, from mouthwatering Kafta to succulent Kebabs. Through this vlog, I invite you to experience a glimpse of the adventure and splendor that Lebanon has to offer. Don't forget to subscribe for more captivating travel vlogs like this!

Yes indeed, thank you!
@@ryanfromjapan81 you're welcomed to lebanon anytime 😊
Beautiful landing ! Welcome to Lebanon Ryan
Thanks a lot!
Is it safe to travel to Lebanon rn in 2024? Is it risky like people says?
Except for the south (border with Israel) it is currently quite safe. If in a month or 2 they decide to take it to a full blown war that I don't know. But even then you will always have safe places. Batroun for example is really far from all the tension. In worse case scenario and if a huge war erupts and if the airport shuts down you can always take a boat to neighboring Cyprus and take a plane from there 😂
Hi Ryan, greetings to you and your beautiful country Japan and thank you for showing my Country. I hope you will revisit Lebanon again and again. Cheers!

Love your editing Ryan, smooth and nice, great rhythm, great little documentary. I haven’t been to Batron for a few years now. Glad you had the chance to meet Georges Khabbaz, even if you don’t know his craft, he’s quite a humble human being 😊. I’m certainly sharing this video, thanks for making it in the first place 😊
