Welcome to Camerata's UA-cam Channel! We are an innovative group of top-notch musicians from Las Cruces, El Paso and Ciudad Juárez that seeks to bring unique chamber music experiences to the region. Founded by NMSU professor and violinist Daniel Vega-Albela, Camerata Del Sol was originally conceived by select players of both El Paso and Las Cruces Symphony Orchestras, in order to explore the string ensemble repertoire that full symphonies seldom perform due to the intimacy and size of its configuration. Camerata Del Sol is a 15-piece, conductorless ensemble that requires each of its members to be responsible for bringing every score we prepare to life as well as to become an integral part of the creative process.

Continuing our tradition of performing in unusual venues, Camerata Del Sol will make its debut at Las Cruces Alma D'Arte Charter School this Friday, March 29th, at 7:30 PM, and return to the Woman's Club of El Paso this Saturday, March 30th, at 7:00 PM.
