Version13B Garage "Turbo Everything" Performance Optimization CARbuilds "teachable moments" all while keeping it comedic and entertaining. For my dear friends who scold me for not keeping them current and synced with my automotive adventures, I'm getting tired of repeating myself, so here we go. Prepare to see attainable budget friendly car projects focused around (Track, Drift, Time Trials, Drag etc) all motorsport disciplines. As an ASE Certified Master Technician W/20+years work experience, so I know the learning never turns off, at the track or at work. Every Project has, and I love the "AH HA moments" that feeling when you just "GET IT" theory of operation is great but proof of concept w/complete understanding=BliSS. NOT WASTING both our times with boring install videos instead I focus on Topics/Points not normally covered. Its only Important if it makes it Better, Faster, Stronger or Cheaper!! WHATS UP AT.. Version13B Garage! IS300 FC RX7 GS400 MRS vs. Miata and Jonny Mustang too BOOST IT ALL
Lets get to know the family here at the Version13B garage... With all my dependents you would think I'd be getting a huge TAX check from the IRS but they don't leave enough spaces for their VINs... too bad maybe one day but we love them all anyway. There something for everyone, from Girly hair drier powered (Turbo) Miatas and their Nemesis the Toyota MRS Spyders 1zz and 2zz. JDM to Johnny Mustang a SN95 4.6 V8 with a Paxton centrifugal Supercharger. IS IT A SUPRA ?? nooooo It's an IS300 with a stupid wing and a BIG TURBO 2jz, a NA-T built w/ forged internals. Then the Lexus GS400 1UZ-GE, luxury cruiser or Mobster Yakuza car if you need it to be. And I believe maybe the how it all started but last on my list My second gen FC3S Mazda Rx-7 Uniquely powered by a Turbo 6-port 13B rotary engine by my own design. After typing this out I see there is a theme of pressurized combustion charges here but I guess it is just what makes these cars fun...

@@version13b Hard too is the way forward in my opinion. But the price these days for one including the fitting kit, you can buy another MR2 😓
Took about and hour seems like a slot but you just need to remove the top it's pretty easy!
I have a 2001 MR2. I have ordered by side seal gates. What type of glue do you use to attach the new side seal gates? Any other advice?
No glue they actually have there own little adhesive you'll see it when you open them.

tire size setup?
These are 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata factory OEM Racing Hart wheels tire size is 205/40/R17 they sit fine up front would need 17-20mm of backspacing or spacers to sit right with the fender in the rear I only put these on because they look better than the factory wheels that come with these haha. They are pretty narrow but perfectly fine for running around town. Not a track day setup for sure.

Gotta love the Miata, you inspired me to turbo my own!
That means a lot to me, I love my cars, and each one has a specific type of motorsports discipline it excels at. MIata is one of those cars that if you want to do it all you can. that's why everyone should have a "turbo miata" even if it's just hanging out in the corner.

What engine?
Its a 13B rotary W/8.5:1 balanced lower compression higher strength cast turbo rotors... Unusual part is that its a 6-Port turbo engine which I actually did on purpose, because 26ml more port volume and 13 degrees of additional intake duration so... for piston people its like a big cam basically lots of lift and longer duration for port to stay open make power at high rpm operation.
As a Spyder owner, I want to thank you for doing what you can to keep them on the road. There will never be another car quite like it.
