I know it’s too late now but you could’ve asked for concrete evidence on why you needed to pay the 1 month’s rent. The same happened to me when I moved a few months ago but when I asked why and proved that I qualified for the lower deposit, they changed it to the $500 deposit. Hey Moya. I know how you feel. I had to empty all my savings challenges and sinking funds as well because of emergencies. I felt like a failure as well, now I’m getting my binders and envelopes together to start all over again. I have a lot more categories and binders now but they are necessary until I am able to condense and slowly remove what is no longer needed.

Starting over is not all bad because it's all a learning process. The best part is that you had the money on-hand when you needed it. Most people couldn't do that so pat yourself on the back for little victories won. 🤩

You can purchase a grocery cart at Walmart and I can't tell you how many times it's saved me time. I live in upstate New York, and the winters are brutal here, so I use that to get my wal mart and even Sam's club groceries in the house much faster
