serato tells you the BPM and it works wonders for samples a lot cleaner than dropping the sample in fl studio are you sure the bpm is right and the sample just isnt chopped correctly because these old songs use a lot of swing so if the BPM is right it probably wont loop perfectly but you can use a website to find the bpm of the sample vocalremover.org/key-bpm-finder

Dude, thats what the "tap tempo" button is for. Play the song while you're tapping that button. If I remember correctly, in FL, it's somewhere up by the play and metronome buttons.

@@RigazziHelps Sometimes you have to edit the beat grid first in Serato Sample... Especially with samples that are pre drum machine (or quantization). When you hover over the waveform you can see GRID button at the bottom left. Just click on it and edit the grid. You can even add more markers for different bpm changes. Hope this help in the future.

I never used ableton, and it's not the DAW, it's the sampler... Does ableton account for variable bpm changes with older samples? If so that cool, but FL for life.

@@LeonJefferson i use them both, i edit samples/chop then make the beat in FL, I actually downloaded this sample yesterday and made a beat with it, it took me less than 30 min, but everyone has different workflow and it’s okay but i was watching the struggle and i was like damn i wish I’m there to chop it up in ableton cuz the way he chopped it and the sample choices is crazy i really loved it 🔥. Yeah man as long as it’s fun it’s okay to take 20 hour of chopping and pulling up 4 different seratos like he said in the video lol, shout out to u and have a great day brother 🙌🏻
