I had one here in Australia in a cold temperate area and seriously the poly panels didnt last any more than 5 years. After then they were useless. They all disintegrated because of the UV.

The seeds are planted in a much more controlled environment and they only allow the best plants to grow. Then they select between what they harvested and the process begins again... sorry, maybe i didn't listen correctly but how long did it take for your seedlings to develop 2 leaves? and one further question related to watering the plants from underneath: is there a way to f this one up? like, do you do you measure the amount of water beforehand or is it fine to have some access water left at the end, that the soil just couldn't soak up?
