I'm back home with family for a few days during the holidays, and it feels good to be able to play a real piano again. In my house and other spaces I frequent, I do not have access to a real piano. All I have at home is a MIDI keyboard which has to be plugged into my laptop and running through my DAW for me to be able to play it (and then I have to deal with latency).
Anyway, while I was back home, I decided to record this rendition of The Christmas Song. It's an arrangement in a book of Christmas music that my family has had for as long as I can remember, and every year when I get the chance, it's one of my favorites to play. Also I apologize that this performance is not the best, unfortunately I'm only visiting for a couple of days and so I had very little time to practice and record this.
