Nilgiris District, Coonoor Circle, Melur Village, Kottakkal, is near Sengudrayan Hill. The hill is about 2000 feet high and is surrounded by 20 tourists every day. It is also part of the Western mountains. The dense forests of Coimbatore, pilloor Dam, Kerala, and the surrounding forests of the forest cover the mountain ranges and also the Paksuran mountain of Coonoor.
