Rainforest Partnership is an international nonprofit that protects and conserves tropical rainforests, critical assets in the climate crisis. Working directly with indigenous and local communities as guardians and economic participants, our integrated approach supports sustainable livelihoods, thriving biodiversity, and long-term forest protection.
Founded in 2007, Rainforest Partnership addresses the challenge of deforestation by centering the needs and rights of those on the frontlines of rainforest protection-Indigenous peoples and local communities-to support resilient communities, preserve and regenerate ecosystems, and create long-lasting conservation impact in the Amazon and beyond.

God is an awesome God who created these magnificent animals.
Yes. And these are one of the indigenous tribes in Sumatra.
MAN OF THE FOREST
Thank you for yr beautiful documentary. How on earth we help Orang Utan if the whole world buying palm oil in crazy quantities ??? It's kinda sad the whole world actually contributed to the decline of Orang Utan 😢
Can they fall from the threes?
no orang safety protocol dictates they are tied into a climbing harness after crossing 10' above ground.
Orang Utan and Cappuchin are my favorites.
3:09 "it's not realistic to just _____" what? And push myself...," What is he saying about not being able to find orangutans by himself. I totally get the gist of it, but I'm curious as to what word (s) he's mumbling there or if my hearing and recognition skills are just really that fucked (i.e. this is NOT the first time I've left similar question/ comments here on the UA-cams) Thanks 🫂
If their were no humans 7 million years ago, which I do agree with, but only apes then how come they’re are now humans yet still the same apes?
The answer is: The whole evolution is bullshit.
Evolution is not linear. Later species do not replace earlier ones. New species emerge due to random gene mutations. If the mutation is of benefit to survival in the environment of those individuals then more like that will be born. Later species are not upgrades of earlier species they are just a different way of surviving adapted to the environment in which they live. So there is no reason for the other great apes to disappear just because humans now exist. They are perfectly adapted to their rainforest environment. The only reason they are dying and critically endangered is because humans are cutting down and selling their rainforests as woodchips and toilet paper.
Thank you
interesting how they are solitary vs most other apes . 97 vs 99% DNA of humans shared. They in many ways are more like humans. I worked in Asia westerners have a hard time understanding life is different there. What we value isn't always the same. The people and the governments need to value these animals in jungles and jungles.
We need to get. Our priorities straight with all the millions of people around the world that are suffering and in desperate need of resources like food, medicine, shelter, mental health services, etc. So why we are still wasting valuable time and resources on these useless, hideous apes. Let's pull our heads out of our rear ends this year and try stopping more teen suicides, and depression, help homeless single parents, traumatized vets ,etc. Enough with this bullshit. another school shooting is just around the corner folks but let's worry about a bunch of useless apes! Yeah that will fix things!!
Genial
At least they might have gotten some good compost out of this otherwise useless animal. Americans and Brits , who come as tourists and get to go home far removed from the conflict these creatures cause are the only ones whining about the issue. That's why the Indonesian government doesn't give 2 shts about the opinions of the west and I agree. They have every right to take advantage of economic opportunity and people In the West need to STFU. More worried about your vacation spots than about the economic opportunity of the Indonesian children.
No mention of the Aerosol Masking Effect in this vid? The more China switches to shut down Coal the faster things will heat up due to less sulfur pollution in the air. Read Daniel Rosenfeld for how the Aerosol Masking Effect is twice as bad as previously thought. A 40% decrease in sulfur pollution will heat Earth another 1 degree Celsius global average. oops.
China is the largest importer of Cargill's soybeans that were illegally stored in the Amazon Rainforest. Oops.
Thank you for your comment and participation. We appreciate it. #thetimeisnow
doesn't China give out FREE CHAINSAWS to poor Africans in the Rainforest so they can export hardwood rainforest to China?
Thank you for your feedback and participation on the latest WRD. The time for forests is NOW!

wonderful 🥰
I love the use of rainforest flavors for the cocktail designed to help protect it <3

This is one of the most heartbreaking things I have ever watched. I feel sickened. These poor people (and orangutans as well.) Their paradise was ripped from them.

It is very funny to observe all the emotions of a chameleon at the sight of another victim. I won't forget his blissful face for a long time :)))
I 💙 orangs. In fact it is my goal to -and I haven't figured out my exact calling yet - help these animals in whatever way destiny decides I should. I love them so so much - it's ineffable the connection I feel towards our cousins ☺
well, good news, you can start by stopping the use of any and all products that contain palm oil, and you can campaign for others to do the same, even if thats just by telling your friends as a start. you can do it! God Bless!

I need to ask ppl how can we destroy their world 🌎, a world where they were here before humans, we a basically taking away something where they live this is their home as well... we need to really take a step back and realize what the future holds ( not just for them but for humans as well) bc ppl must realize that this planet and humans need every single animal that lives here bc they all have a purpose, and if they die I am scared 😨 what that would truly mean for us as well... the REAL PPL OF THE FOREST!!!?
We need to get. Seven millinia? I think not pal. That's less than ten thousand years. People where building megolithic structures fifteen thousand years ago. Idiot.
he said seven MILLION, not seven millenia. youre the one who sounds like an idiot now hahaha
WE NEED TO SAVE THE BEAUTIFUL TREES AND OUR RAIN FOREST THAT IS STILL LEFT.
It's up to the governments of these areas they do claim to be doing their very best to combat deforestation but they really don't give a fuck about anything other than what financially benefits them, until these areas do get leaders who do care deforestation will continue until nothing is left, ridiculous but true
@Jabari Safari that is just ridiculous
Stop buying palm oil to start with
Real or fake...?
why the hell is the ceo of cargill in here saying its gut wrenching when they are one of the freggin number one companies causing this shit. If you care about the rainforest GO VEGAN. peace
