In the UK gay people have had the right to marry for under 20 years. And there are still huge barriers for the trans community. Historically - we’ve shamed and hurt the gay community. Now, we’re helping them stand up for themselves. Remember Alan Turing being brutally punished for his sexuality - despite being by instrumental in bringing about massive advances in technology and shortening the war? No change is possible without being brave enough to be outspoken. This singer uses her platform to ensure safety for others. That’s why she mentions it.

We made sure Georgia had breaks when she was upset, this is a second take after a break and Georgia was reassured that the interview could stop if she needed.
