Being a Library Union Representative - Trials and Tribulations in an ever more Complicated World
Unions and their representatives are a mainstay of most UK workplaces, holding regular meetings with their membership and relaying what they learn there to leaders and managers within the organisation. This is true for libraries as well, yet we rarely here about or from them outside the events sorrounding ongoing disputes. This event tried to shine a light on the less often looked parts of the role of the union representative.
