Another Blender idea I probably bit off more than I could chew on. Or at least more than I was willing to chew before calling it "good enough". I was messing around with some fog for this, but it obscured the treeline too much for my taste.

This was my first attempt at making an environment of my own using Blender. I messed around with some Silent Hill 1 textures and whatever else I found. I gave this tutorial a go earlier this year. I did a little extra to figure out how to put in music and death sound effects just for the hell of it. I had a fun time with it, but I discovered the part I enjoyed the most was designing the environments, which got me messing around with Blender instead of Unreal. Attempting to recreate another one of my favorites. This one forced me to get more familiar with automation, as well really dialing in the desired Delay effect, as opposed to just sticking with the default settings. I wanted to mess around with the idea of making video game music again and try my hand at an SNES era shop theme. I remembered I had gotten RPG maker in a Humble Bundle ages ago so I finally put it to use so I could make this dumb video.
