This is where the circle offense was born
Coach Johnson was a terrible influence on East Noble. Made the whole program about himself and Kyle, it was sad to witness. So conceded....
Great stuff. Thanks
I have been running flasher for several years and it fits our 4 guard offense. Thanks for the breakdown I have commented on the other video. Looking for more on the breakdown
I use to have this series but was his un scout able zone offense with the flasher . Now I cant find it anymore. I liked the old series compared to the new one. Any idea where I can find that older set
He has 3 the spread. 5 out with the numbering and zone offense w flasher.
Looking for the flasher zone one at this clinic I use to have it now I can not find it Thanks @@keithfreeman4900
By harry is he referring to harry paretta, and is this then the "unscoutable zone offense"? Just found your channel and it's really a treasure trove of great oldies but goodies clinic-wise.
Yes it is. We ran this clinic for over 15 years. Harry was a regular speaker.
I was a teammate of Marty in college.
Was he a dick back then as well?
We try and run his Press and watching this clears up so many things for us and now us as coaches can adjust and correct
GOOD!
Attendance for this WNIT Second Round Playoff Game was 1,510 fans.
At the 45:29 mark, the zone is distorted. Wing guarding the ball in the corner, Pt taking the next pass which is the wing. If the ball is swung, corner-wing, top-wing, then the opposite wing is guarding the pt. If the ball is swung all the way to the opposite wing, the post would then have to take the ball. Would u then bump that player off with the wing to get back to your original rules?
Our team runs this offense is there a way to get this with sound?
She's not even shooting the ball ...just throwing it!!
😂
Sound starts at 4:39
Good
Does anybody have the clinic notes for Marty Johnson 'Flex Offense'
Coach Johnson retired and resides in Southern Indiana.
does anybody know how to get in touch with Coach Johnson?
Coach has always been a step ahead of us all. He has been running what is now the most popular offense for 20 plus years!!
What does “teams are gonna switch” mean? When the team screens down other other teams defenders switch who they are guarding to escape the screen? Right?
Switching screens negates the separation you would receive. Slipping screens is the counter to switches
"Pressure, Pressure, Pressure" I'm watching this post covid. That didn't age well. LOL
Where did you all get the full body blocking pad?
Hi Harry, thanks for sharing this video with us. Found it very useful especially when you don't have to many big's in the team. One thing that I got out of this is how you get all of the athlete's to move of the ball, this is awesome. I have watched this video about a dozen times. Thanks from Mark in Sunny Queensland Australia
This some good sh*t. I need to save video and study more and apply it to my middle school girls offense
Trailing Big is my favorite. 😄😄😄 A jumpshooter at each corner, so 1 of your taller post players starts off Upton for the 1st Guard-to-Guard pass because his post defender is less aggressive at stealing the pass.
Coach Meyer 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks for sharing. I miss Coach Meyer - one of the best ever!
The bobber set is horrible spacing. You have to be playing some bad defensive teams if you are getting back doors with two pairs of offensive players standing within 6 feet of each other.
@Corey Kaufman The top defender can guard both when they are standing on top of eachother like that. Bottom can play one-in-one-out all day. Best in the country? I'd take at least a dozen CA schools ahead of you on the girls side alone... eta...I guess we are moving the goalposts and deleting replies now.
@@raycard691 I don't see any top schools in the state on their schedule, much less top schools in the country. Big fish in a little pond. Maybe.
Would like to know more of this and hear the sound
Does anyone have a link to these clinicnotes by any chance?
Shuffle cut = Flare Screen.
Looks like a great video but there is no sound. I am a youth coach and am interested.
Interesting like to hear the volume though
Good coach
Very interesting point of view and use of the famous FLEX OFFENSE with common sense and motion offense. Taking decisitions and play understanding with coach Marty Johnson exelent capacity demostration. Specially recomend this offense been study and analize. Sorry for my poor english.
Muy interesante utilización del famoso FLEX con el sentido común y la motion offense. Toma de decisiones y conocimiento del juego en una excelente demostración de capacidad del coach Marty Johnson. Recomiendo su análisis.y consecuentes reflexiones.
Thanks. I have been looking for more information on his 2-2-1 press. This has been very helpful.
