I have same year, model and color . It was my late fathers with only 975 miles on it . She has just 1,600 on it now . They are sweet bike's to ride , but it's funny how It catches more looks than my Triumph or my Harley .

My screen in the mixer was completely plugged. Now have best hot water flow in 2 years. Was a real pain to access the back side of heater in my unit.

Worked for me BUT I did not take the data port clip out instead I slide mine sideways, saves 2 screws.. maybe different on a 2014 C300? Either way, thanks so much; dealer wanted 350!

Great video, but never use vasoline, which is petroleum based, on rubber o-rings. It will deteriorate the rubber. Use silicon grease.

Exactly what did and it worked. Did have to use the pliers also to loosen it. Used lithium grease.

This is exactly the video I needed to see. My bottom hinge has come loose and had no idea what kind of job this would be. I have a ‘95 Excella but I would expect the way airstream does things, it won’t be to much different. Thanks for sharing!

You don't need to disassemble it. If you do not use it for a long time, it gets stuck. If you forcibly lift the handle with your knee and move the tilt upward, the stuck thing will come off and it will work normally. hahahahaha

ALSO - check the rubber washers on the bypass valves! I almost replaced my heater cuz of 2 small rubber washers that slipped out of place and blocked the flow at the surface of the ball valve. Diagnosis that gave up the secret - low flow on hot water even in full bypass configuration.....so it was NOT the mixing valve or clogged heater.....

So slow.
