I would if he is a strict father with his boys, not all people are driven like he is. I think most good athletes have this confidence. That is what separates them from others. But I fell this in life as well, the harder you work the more you active. Best of luck to him.

This man's career and work ethic is so impressive. Especially when you consider the challenges he's faced in childhood and with each team. He says what he means and then flashes that sweet smile and it's gold. I think Zlatan means gold. It's a fitting name for him.❤ ❤❤❤

Great dialogue; I appreciate the commentator asking inquisitive questions that really make Zlatan think and bring out the true Zlatan which made him (Zlatan) the legend he is today. Like Zlatan said everything you do is a big part the mental aspect. Everyone regardless if you watch soccer (football) or not. Lots of life lessons and thank you for giving us this gift of insight.

Theres a saying in Bosnia&Herzegovina(where he's ethnically from) "Nemožes bosancu reći da nešto nemože / Đe ćeš bosancu reći da nešto nemože." which roughly translates " How dare u tell to a Bosnian that he cant/is incapable of doing something." and it looks like Zlatan's philosophy largely comes from that :D but also philosophically he seem to be giving a whole lot of importance to self-consistency or self authenticity, something that has been forgotten in our culture for the most part, esp. with the explosion of medias and virtual technologies.

He used to watch the fights of Muhammed Ali with his father, and he really liked the way he acted, but only because he could back up his words. It's not cool to inflate your ego unless you are the best. So he worked hard to become the best, so he could act like that without looking like a fool. Usually he does it with a twinkle in his eye, half-joking, but not when it comes to the fact that he is as good as he is because he just works harder than the rest. He has huge respect for determination, work-ethics and the power of the will.
