Thanks. Great conversation. Great tips. I'm wondering about General Hertling's comments about managing type A personalities. I get it that we need to empower people and get out of their way. However, what about the people who are the opposite? The people who by their years of behavior have shown that they are not motivated to make things better, that they wish to do the minimum to keep their paychecks and benefits? what if they have been given plenty of agency and encouragement to make things better, and they consistently choose to not engage and to do as little as they can get away with?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! At Practicing Excellence, we firmly believe that it's important to understand what motivates people first before anything else. Are they happy at work? Are they being meaningfully recognized when they do a great job at something? Are they operating in an environment where they feel safe to express themselves? While there's no template to approach this, creating a culture where team members feel valued and empowered is essential to fostering engagement and driving meaningful change.

The interviewer (Stephen) questions are too long, there are multiple parts to his question which sometimes causes the gist of the question to be lost. Take a page from the General's book, his answers are simple, logical and easy to relate too.

2 years ago, in the distance education times i was super shy when taking lesson on zoom. My teacher was asking questions about lesson to everybody and my hands are sweeting, i was shaking and terrifyed when i tought that my turn could come next and i would messed up. The idea of being disgrace to everybody was horrible and painful. And it did like i tought. İ couldnt solve problems, i couldnt answer questions which are everyone can answe in the class. İ felt so much shame. İ wished to being dead that time. However i enjoy to feeling shame now. My old identity who fears to embarass was transformed to feeling happines with being embarrased and mortified 😊😊. Actually i am looking for opportunities to being humiliated now. And i am elated with this life style.♥️💝. Especially i love when a lady made me feel ashamed. 💜☺️💛 İ love every single thing about universe💫🌼😍
