Does this work for edexcel

The sample standard deviation is not = population standard deviation/ sqrt(n) because that is the standard error. The sample standard deviation is =sqrt[(Sxx)/(n-1)]. The n-1 is only used when calculating sample variance and standard deviation. This confused me so much and made me not want to touch stats. Hope it helps someone. Good luck 👍

My teacher also commited scuicide actually for the last two years we had two deaths where students died by killing themselves and now with our teacher dead it's just feels so hopeless they read his scuicide note at his memorial and said in his letter that no one should blame themselves for what he did and he truly regretted leaving his students behind but he said he was exhausted and lonely and I just wish we could've prevented it

God I can’t imagine how tough this is to deal with, I’m so sorry!! I hope you’ve all managed to recover a bit at least, this is so eye opening. We also had a teacher commit suicide. We were in year 9 I think? He was always off school for long periods of time and everyone joked that he was having a holiday somewhere lovely, as 14 year olds do. We’d heard that he passed away but nobody really knew what actually happened or how he passed. We all managed to find out he passed away through the instagram post of another teacher which went around on Snapchat. The school never said anything about it, no teachers mentioned it to us at all. I think it was only until the end of year 11 (covid year so during those last few days of school in March when we all didn’t do any work anymore) that the teacher who’d made a post about him told some of my friends what happened. It still shocks me that the school didn’t say anything about it. I still think of him sometimes and all the lessons I had with him.
