Everyone's making super cool nodes with the new Copycat node and I wanted in on the action. So Foundry, if you're listening, this is my contribution. I expect this Waldo Finder that only works like 30% of the time to be on the front page of the Cattery tomorrow morning. Thank you. The first and only 100% CG My Chemical Romance music video?!?! You know I'm all over that. Bare with me for over an hour while I try to unravel the stunning swarm effect created by the evil genius Aaron Hymes. Aaron, if you're there. Please dear God, throw me a bone and tell me how you did it. Anyways, even if this is nothing like how Aaron Hymes created the effect, it gets the job done and I c...

Apparently one of my favorite professors from college still shows this to her classes, so I will never private this video :)
Btw I was wondering, Do you reckon if we use the free version of nuke to do a roto in HD, then we bring the matte in da vinci and apply it on a 4K , wloud it work better then a magic mask ?
really like the way you explained everything, keep it up !!! ADHD gang
Holy cow. So glad the algorithm gods lead me to your channel
Didn't try it but you can possibly come up with a Blender solution for the emit plane shading problem.. Probably you could capture an Attribute like the point emitted index and use this to drive the material frame offset on the plane. Something conceptual similar can be done within one material on multiple objects via a color attributre to randomize color of each object via a animation attribute captured in geometry nodes as far i know.
Easiest subscribe I've ever done. I run a UA-cam channel based on teaching people to write fiction and I do a bunch of intros and skits using digital production and this tutorial was super helpful. I never knew that Nuke had a non-commercial license, but I'm going to give it a shot! I appreciate all your work on this workflow!
for displacement use adaptive subdivisions and set render mode to experimental and set subdivisions in render settings to 2 viewport 1 render and do same with map range node and turn down displacement
Could the masking be done on resolve studio magic mask? (I know nothing about 3d rendering :D )
Ternyata caranya segampang ini
Yes! Thank you so much!! This is 100% what I've been looking for!
Make a gismo out of it.
You ARE HILARIOUS!!! haha. Amazing tuts mate!!!!
amazing tutorial man
got a new sub only because of your nature. you are passionate. I use cinema 4d but I wish you upload full step by step tutorial on this
Useless. No available on android.
can we do someting like this ??? this is 7 year ago tho ua-cam.com/video/XkXrLZmnQ_M/v-deo.htmlsi=H-v1NaXC7souNxU9
tbh no hate, i have been watching a few of your videos that come up to my recommended and here is some advice: 1: If you're gonna make a tutorial or showcase a feature in any program, atleast have the final result be how you say in the title of the video.. 2: Just because you use a really hard program for 3d and editing instead of using after effects and blender, houdini, unreal engine 5 you name it, means that your work is instantly amazing and realistic. 3: You need a lot of work making your scenes realistic or cinematic. With the technology and vfx you can do nowadays on your computer, you are not excused to have such horrible realism, and even showcasing it. Fix your renders, use another program, because Nuke is definitely not for you. No hate but you can't just use an application used by marvel and all of these companies that make their scenes really realistic and then give us this type of fake realism that you put as a thumbnail.. it is more clickbait than ever
48:53 this made my day
Dude, I absolutely love your short, I think I've watched it at least 20 times in a row. If the entrance to afterlife is like this, I'm actually looking forward to it!
Crown Vics weren't just undercover cop cars. You should have one spawn periodically that was converted from a former life as a cop car. They often still have the aimable drivers' side lamp and some scars on top from lights and other equipment.
@@chaosordeal294 haha I did at one point! It was going to still have the police lights behind the grill on a rare percentage of them. I forgot why I removed it at the last minute though
i feel like mcr na na na na na backtrack to this final video is perfect match
lostme at that 13 min
Can I use this app with camera footage? And there is no Android app (maybe because Android doesn't have LIDAR scanner)... But is there something for Match Moving my God Of War like camera and it moves fast sometimes.
Incredible! Ive been working on this same idea! Its really interesting that you are not using any noise.. Are you trying to achieve the noise through the hue and saturation changes? Specifically I have not found a defualt option on any software that emulates digital noise (NOT grain). This ties into how CMOS sensors capture color data. Each pixel only captures green, red, or blue, not all three, and interpolates between them. And then there is a general noise in the data for each pixel with its intensity dependent on how much light hits each sensor, which is why darker areas have more noise ( in both renderings and photographs, but differing in effect). This was so exciting to watch and would like to talk with you a bit more about it!
Mama didn't raise no sith
why no keyer node? :D It's blue contrasty as fuck :D
@@gadass for this exact footage that would’ve maybe worked but I think I was just lucky there was no blue in the room lol :)

On Fu%kin point ☝️👉 bro 🙏😎👍
use magic mask in fusion istead and get better results then this faster
10 more tutorials and ill sign up for the dell
@@DominicGrzecka I’ll do it 😔
you can do this in 34 second in comfy bro
all you have ti di is prompt" the lightsaber" and it masks it out and gives you out puts

@ okay bet :))
There's another easier rotoscope method, Davinci Resolve 19, also free.
I'm buying it because the cop car had the stunt piston thing underneath after it flipped.
I think this guy loves crown victoria
Great energy.... I have to say though your claims are a little overstated. It's not really a random car generator.
Thanks!
cool video, but how install and use this upscaler on nuke?
36:29 For Blender 4.2 "import images as planes" was moved from the Import menu to the Add menu of the 3D Viewport. You can find it here: 3D Viewport ‣ Add (Shift A) ‣ Image ‣ Mesh Plane
Curt I watch every tutorial you make multiple times and pretend I’m smart enough to follow along!
Shouldn't you convert your srgb input footage here to pure linear when doing this? Then convert back to sRGB in the end? That would also simplify the exposure expression, as doing exposure in pure linear is photographically correct.
@@TreyMotes that’s a good idea, I like that. Thank you! :)
Doing everything in ACES) is probably the best method, most pro render engines like arnold, redshift etc use acescg by default anyways. Always do compositing and cgi in aces!
@ignitoracing acescg is just linear with a different color gamut. You don't need to change color gamut to do this.
@@TreyMotes yeah youre right but i've just used to work in aces with everything. Especially cgi, in commercial environment for 9 yeara now. Bigger gamut isnt worse, might not be necessary youre right but aces is still just great. 90% of the tv shows and movies the vfx studio i work in are in aces, probably outside film/tv environment its matter of what youre used to
@@ignitoracing You're not going to get any extra data from converting sRGB/rec709 gamut into the larger ACES container. Doing that would be pointless for this. He isn't manipulating color in a creative way here anyway... just the luminance.
Man bro I hope you still keep posting after your Dell stream thing..... your shit is Fu!cKKKKKinnnnnn Cool thanks for dropping value
idk anything about blender, i came here from the last video but homie is showing us how to make blender car NFT's :) <3 i love your energy homie!
wizardry but im willing to learn from you. if a silly goose like you can do it and can teach it to a silly goose like myself... i am learning <3
Dude is high on vfx... By the end of the video he's already seeing polygons.
Nice work. Can you do a full tutorial on this? I'd like to do the same with other cars. Thank you!
Great energy and solution mate!
Holy **** you could rotoscope while your f**kin' I gotta tell my girlfriend!!
Can I rig the phone to my real camera and use the data in a VFX program on the camera footage?
I legit think you can, I was just talking about this same idea with a coworker lol. If you do, let me know how it goes
How did you achieve this 90s looking footage you showed at the start? Does anyone have any tutorial an how to do that in post?
thanks for this brilliant tutorial. is there any chance you will make the shader or blendfile available as download?
I plan on it one day, making asset packs, but right now they’re not good enough lol
